  3. Hey Virgil if that thing at the collage don't work for you along with the poetty stuff, you could ask Gregg if you could write a few articles for the Magazine??
  4. Nice work Gregg I like the looks of the racer, nice and sharp.
  5. if you go to LMC TRUCK and order one of the ford pick up catalogs in the begining it tells you every major diffrence from year to year on those trucks.
  6. I know the website has stuff on it for track racing but I would love to see maybe a artical or two in the old mag itself, maybe like a beginers artical. Oh and Gregg you need to post a Vertigo warning with the one video you have with the truck and the camera on the track,I almosted hurled.
  7. why not add a section like this since model car bodys are used and do your cars go this fast http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMPCZ-uv4B8&feature=related

  12. I have no need to complainsince I subscribe and dont have to do the hunt for it any more.
  13. I can't complain mine showed up on christmas and the sad part was it was the best gift I got this year THANX GREGG AND HARRY.
  14. I agree with harry, that almost looks natural for it.
  15. you can do wonders Pat with a one piece chassis with a little creative painting and some basic running of lines like fuel and brake lines if you want,or a nice light wash to bring out the recess details also. Take for example revells mid 70s Monte Carlo snap kit for example, all the detail is there you just got to be creative with your paints and washes and it jumps out at you.
  16. see I build just for pure enjoyment, every so often Imay wana get into something super detailed to keep theskillssharp but other than that its just for pure fun. a car kit weather your building stock or a replica of something youhave to stay in that window but a custom car you just broke the frame, now you can also do the same thing with the personlly owned aircraft if you want, but if your doing historical stuff you can't just put your own touch to it and say it belongs there. its all in what you do I guess.
  17. now that just sold me a few.
  18. hey gregg how about to some of your lucky worshippers online?
  19. see this is what I'm talking about, making something that is crapola shine like gold.
  20. the gto and this daytona are like any other kit with problems you either man up and deal with it or build it and ignore it nice work so far
  21. In a few post I have been reading when advice is asked about if a person should build a kit of very questionable quality"example 69 daytona or 69 charger",dont be affraid guys and gals to take a stab at that craptacular kit,it maybe a lemon but with a little effort you can make it a jem. the question is how many of us have turn junk kits to jems with whats in the box??
  22. heres what I did with the F AND F 70 charger and you can do the same thing with yours. scrap the chassis kit and get the 1968 road runner forthe chassis and drive train and gofrom there. or work the kit as is and just sharpen your skills as it was sugested by wraith
  23. there not models or toys. there stress releavers.
  24. I know Harry thier is a company that makes LED light units so the big floresents so you can swap out the bulbs and balest for just the LED tubes, were getting those for the shop and it makes life a lot easier, plus no hums and pops
