I got today a original 1962 kit of a 1934 ford coupe/convertible with only one part missing and that's one of the custom front suspension trailing arms and the body was cracked in half,I got it at a thrift store for 15 bucks and the box was in excellent shape and it even has the decals and the monogram catalog from 1962. I am trying to find out if they made any more of these kits over the year'so I can get the one part that's missing?,And how much is this kit worth? I will post pics later.

Lindberg's 1940 ford that came in the dodge semi and flat bed kit,Haven worked with injection molding machines in my life I knew just by looking at it they didn't let the mold close all the way cause everything was a 1/16th to a 1/8th inch to thick,so I bought another cause I really liked the kit of the car it self so I figured give it another try and its never a good thing when you gotta break out a palm sander to help with the seams. -

this is one of those kits if you have any of the other mopar kits from the 70's "ie dukes charger" you can update the chassis an drive line with, plus you can also use the other engine in it to update the mill in the little red express pick up to freshen it up also. -

Nick Notarangelo replied to greymack's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
if you dont need the boxes you can put the kits in one gallon ziplock bags and put them in a storage tote with a list of whats in it taped to the out side so you can have qwik acsess to whats in side. -

So in other words grab what you can before you have to pay for the over inflated ebay prices. Hopefully someone buys them out before the become a thing of the past. -
3D printing at Staples
Nick Notarangelo replied to Nitro Neil's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
my wife and I own a custom print and apparel buisness and we looked at doing this as a service and for a small place like ours the prices for the most basic setup alone is killer. the good news about this is in the long run if this takes off it will drive the prices for it down to a more manageable cost.
