  1. Nice subject. I love it. The base and the show placard are nice touches.
  2. Wonderful collection you've got going on there.
  3. Rob, I have a few of those, that might do the trick . . . let me see what I can dig up. Thank you for all the great suggestions, buddy. Cheers, DC LOL, thanks, John . . . .well, don't go out and spend all your money on the honeys . . .remember to save plenty for more STYRENE!
  4. All right, I am moving back and forth between the THEATER and this build, it keeps me from getting board. I got the curtain material for the theater and my mother says she make it for me with all the right elements . . . Momma CRANKY in the Lab-RAT-ory! Oh yeah! Here are some mockups of the build so far . . . I'm still rather tickled with these . . . look into my eyes . . . look deeper . . . HA!
  5. Maxx, the wide whites are from the MODELHAUS (170c) and the wheels are from R&M of Maryland. If you contact Norm, he'll set you up. Don't I like the idea . . . and I guess I'll have to print up some G-scale dollar bills. Get it? G-scale? HA! Insanity runs deep in the Lab-RAT-ory.
  6. Definitely looking forward to more progress.
  7. Hoping someone will jump in with more eye candy. Having lowrider withdrawals! LOL.
  8. Lordy, a full day without hearing of any progress . . . I guess the troops must be in R&R. Wait until General EYEGORE gets a whiff of this!
  9. Cruz, it's not rocket science, or if you don't believe me, ask Donn Yost who has been weathering his heart out lately. Is this the reason why he hasn't chime in? I wonder.
  10. Thanks, Tim . . . it's going to slow down here for a while as I turn my attention to the interior and the engine. Although the interior is not really going to be seen once it is inside the body, I will still try to detail it and take pictures of it.
  11. Very generous of you, Pat, to do this for us here.
  12. Wow, thanks for the tutorial, Pat. I love the eye candy.
  13. Wow, I like that engine. I know how much you love building engines, so I can't wait to see this one.
  14. Well, I still the engine and the interior to work on. Wouldn't you know it? For as long as you've known me, what do I always leave for last? The engine and the interior! I love interiors, but this one is going to need some thought. Also, the engine is going to be pretty straight forward, but I am thinking of an air scoop in the form of a hat with dollar bills and change in it. If you guys keep thinking of more ideas, don't hesitate to send them my way. Thank you all for the fun of building models in this great community of wonderful builders.
  15. By the way, that's just painters tape and the same material I used for the heart . . . I could have painted it on, but then I've seen cars out at shows where people have improvised with what they've got or find . . . like during Halloween I've seen people put arms and legs sticking out of their trunks, etc . . . you know what I mean.
  16. Thanks, Bryan . . . I think the plate is just going to read SEXY, you know, kind of tongue in cheek. Sometimes I wonder how I keep from going under . . . ?
  17. Slowly but Sherley, I am getting this one further along . . . I can't wait to finish the THEATER so this one can go on stage . . . Here are some teaser pictures . . . OH MY, I THINK I JUST CAME UP WITH A BETTER NAME FOR THIS ONE! STRIP TEASE 49 MERC! Yes!
  18. Andrew, I think you are going to like what I came up with . . . and you know, who knows if and when burlesque performers ever used the g-string (perhaps in France!), but I needed something to get the message across and I think this will do it. Stay tuned in and those of you who have access to some striptease music (why you would, I don't know, but imagine it then . . .) you might want to crank it up for the next post . . .
  19. I'm taking that as a compliment, Jim!
  20. Thanks, B. I am working out this g-string idea . . . I have some black lace and some red tape. It just might work, but if it looks too dorky, I'll have to airbrush it on.
  21. Just PMed you what I think it is. I have a feeling about this one.
  22. ABSOLUTELY CLASSY AND SMOOTH. And yes, the pink fits it just right. I like it. Thanks for sharing.

    Badillac !

I gotta get one of those! It looks beautiful indeed.
  24. Don, I have to say you must be running a very high styrene fever because that's a great idea. I have to do it with a bit of tape and some lace. Oh my, this is just getting to be too much fun. By the way, here's a video update which you can watch right
