  1. Nah, I would have never guessed this one.
  2. For those of you who haven't seen this yet, you are in for a treat. This is Jim "Hollywood" Fernandez's new "NAUTILUS SUBMARINE" THEMED room.
  3. I think the 5 spoke mags might be just perfect.
  4. LOL! That just cracked me up. Well, you will be happy to know that Doctor Cranky has been going out for walks to drop a few more pounds. HA! Don, this build is coming together really well, and it's going to have lots of great details. Take your vitamins and keep it going.
  5. Thanks, Mr. McLucas, for all the wonderful pictures. I have to say I really like this one, it must have gotten lots of attention. What a neat build:
  6. Beautiful work, again, making great progress.
  7. Nice and shiny. Good job.
  8. Another beautiful model, Walt. Congratulations, and thanks for sharing it with us.
  9. I LOVE THAT GREYHOUND BUS! WOW!
  10. I like it, nice contrast with those colors too. Congrats on a fine job.
  11. I agree with James on the "drop" assessment. Down on the weeds would make it look just perfect.
  12. Wow, those are a whole bunch of great vintage (polaroid vintage!) photographs. Very cool, Chuck.
  13. Just when you think you've seen it all, along comes a machine like this. AMAZING!
  14. I love it. EYEGORE SAYS: LONG LIVE RUST!
  15. Yes, you can win prizes, lots of prizes . . . and have a lot of fun: http://www.facebook.com/notes/ak-interactive/3th-international-weathering-contest-of-ak-interactive-in-facebook/397133823641683
  16. Thank you, Tommy, for bringing us back all the great eye candy. Bless your generous heart.
  17. James, it's a keeper all right, a model full of charm and class. Love it. Congrats.
  18. Great progress, looking forward to more. Best, DC
  19. Very nice, I like it.
  20. I've been pouring over the pictures from the most recent NNL EAST, and it's dawned on me that there is a dependable and reliable (not to say ultra talented) group of scale auto customs customizers who consistently build customs and keep pushing the bar higher and higher. Sound out a roll call (a working list in nor particular order) of those builders (pictures of their work is always welcomed) whose work you like and consider high art in the custom style. I think this will help introduce a new generation to these folks' work: Bill Stillwagon, Steve Boutte, Steve Millberry, Ted Lear, Bob Dudek, ZED
  21. I use Plastikote Primer (rattle can), House of Kolor bases (airbrushed), PEARL EX (suspended in HOK Intercoat Clear, airbrushed) on top of that, and then I clear it all with DuPont Acrylic Spot Clear (rattle can). That usually gets me consistent results.
  22. Bless your generous heart, Mike, you brought us lots of great eye candy. It doesn't get any better than this build by Bill Stillwagon:
  23. Nice looking engine.
  24. I saw those, very cool. Lots of great models on the tables, like always.
  25. Wow, it sounds like you cleaned up. Did you get to see the dioramas? Were there many of them there? I know Ken Hamilton took The Playland Penny Arcade.
