  1. That sure is beautiful. Great color and that dashboard is an attention getter.
  2. Crazy weather! Let's hope it is not followed by another snow storm.
  3. Let me tell you every square inch of this build has something spectacular to look at. I don't get tired of looking at the connections between the details and your imagination.
  4. Loving all the details. Second and third servings of eye candy are a must.
  5. Greg, no the water drop is done with water. Then you spray the paint at an angle. This is more all over the place to create background texture for candies and other graphical elements.
  6. Casey, it's made for use with urethanes like HOK and others. As you can see in the video it looks like a foam. For all you know the foam itself is water based. For easy clean up but it does not contaminate the paint. I gotta do some experiments with it.
  7. Don't know how many of you have seen this, or have even tried it. I just ordered a can that comes with the small and large nozzles. I think for our purposes the small nozzle will work som great texture.
  8. A wonderful addition to your collection, and needless to say cute as a button. Love the use of the craft store bling.
  9. Thank you so much, Blair and Mike. Much appreciated.
  10. Other than a few small details, this one is done. Thank you all for making these builds so much fun. I appreciate your input and encouragement all along.
  11. Meet Boris. The owner of this truck wanted a crazy guard pet to take care of the truck, and he did not want a dog or a bear or anything normal like that, so he opted for a killer buzzard who has seen better days. LOL. You don't want to mess with Boris, he can easily take off an arm. He's really upset he's been chained to the gate of the truck.
  12. Thanks, everyone. Except for a couple of little details this one is done. Here are some more progress shots:
  13. Jeff, that's all you need. Of course, it's going to take a while for the book to reach you, but at least you did your research. Bravo.
  14. A lot of times it begins in the old noggin' and goes from there. I am a big believer in constantly looking at books, magazines, other mothers. FEEDING YOUR HEAD, finding a delicate balance between your ideas and the ideas you see out there. That's half of the fun of model building the other half is basically building, painting, finishing, and photographing. Playing with your model is part of the fun.
  15. I am loving the stance and that front clip. Keep it going. Good work.
  16. Thank you, Maties. Still working on the little details. This one should be done by tomorrow. And the owner of this one has this strange, evil pet he's tied up to the bed to protect the truck. More soon tomorrow. Again, thank you.
  17. Jim, as much as I am tempted to do that, I wanted this one to represent those rides I've seen in the mags where the vehicles are all beat up but the wheels are immaculate. Thanks for visiting.
  18. The PHARAOH's PATINA. Oh yes, "patina" is the operative word here. LOL.
  19. Here we go, getting every component ready . . .
  20. Thanks, Dave, and everyone. I've spent most of the day making some progress. Stay tuned in for pictures.
  21. Yes they are narrow and the backs are not as well chromed, so they could in fact be painted and you can add disk brakes.
