  1. Carl, love that blue, and the model turned out real nice. Congrats.
  2. This is an interesting topic and something that does come up quite often. My approach is simply to always try to compound ideas from the best sources. If you are going to be inspired, you might as well be inspired by the very best. We've been dealing with the issue of NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN since Shakespeare's time, and yet, the world of full of great new ideas and inventions.
  3. Nice! I like it!
  4. Doctor Cranky and EYEGORE are very proud! Love it!
  5. There isn't a single model in these pages that I would pass up at a show. I think they all have their merits and warrant attention.
  6. Another winner, Ira. Love the "dynamic" look of it. Maybe one day there will be vehicles like this for everyone to get around in.
  7. Love both bugs in the last picture on the first page.
  8. Wonderful job on the paint and decals. I like it.
  9. Looks fantastic. Looking forward to seeing more.
  10. Love this kind of work and patience. Good stuff, keep it going.
  11. Wow, more recent beautiful work. Again, thank you for sharing it and keeping this thread going.
  12. Another nice build. Love the engine bay.
  13. A beauty of a combo. Lots of the right nostalgia and charm.
  14. Again, another gorgeous model in your collection.
  15. Wow, sorry I missed this one a while ago. I see it now, and I really like it. Thank you for using the Cranky graphics. Love the results.
  16. I've always set out to build models that look different than those someone else might build or build in duplicates like most diecast companies. As a matter of fact, I've always been proud of the fact that even some magazines (remain nameless) would not photograph my models because they were too dark and disturbing and they'dinfluence children all over the world into picking up bad habits like Rock and Roll, smoking cigars, wear black, etc . . .
  17. Ray, I think some of these graphics will indeed look pretty good on the 1/8th scales. Excellent idea.
  18. Yes, it's true, my only concern is making sure that the graphics are indeed in scale. Then the possibilities might be endless.
  19. Folks, I am interested to find out if anyone else has tried this on models. My friend on this video has obviously gotten some great results but it sounds like a really tricky process. I think it has some great potential for our models.
  20. Nice companion to BAD PENNY.
  21. I like it, Chuck.
  22. Cool one.
  23. Love all the details. This build stands out.
