  1. Cheap source of protein, Harry! LOL! Haven't you been watching Andrew Zimmerman's show?
  2. Dirk, you can steal a little piece here and a little bit there! LOL! You know it's got to be fun!
  3. Thank you for the great ref pics. I just ordered a few copies from MODELROUNDUP. Can't wait.
  4. It's foggy now, Jim. AND warmer! Ain't the weather roller coaster fun?
  5. Thanks, buddy, okay, here are a couple of pics, again the trick is to keep the drops way down to scale . . . I've switched over to one of those small pump misters instead of a spray bottle. And I mist from up above and let the drops gather in the right scale. Besides, if you don't like it you can wipe it off and start all over again, the water NOT the paint.
  6. PLEASE NOTE: while you are looking for parts, keep an eye out in your local store toy section, and in particular can an open mind with BIONICLE TOYS. They have lots of great parts and have served the Lab-RAT-ory's THZQ well.
  7. LOL! They look like END OF THE WORLD vehicles to me! HA!
  8. I am NOT kidding, LEGO has been listening to us! Look what they've come up with.
  9. More you say? EVEN LEGO has jumped into he action! Check out those LEGO pieces and parts!
  10. Here are a few more and just in time now that VANTASY is out in kit form! Yippie!
  11. Happy TGIF, all you TZH SQUADDERS! Here's some eye candy to keep you salivatin'!
  12. The vote came in this close because it was really hard to tell. I could have sworn it was a model. Great candidate, Harry, and fabulous picture too!
  13. A little PSA in hopes to rally up more troops for the TZH SQUAD. Please help spread the word. Also, I want to take this opportunity to thank MCM forum (Harry, Gregg et al) for allowing us to have this much fun for absolutely free!
  14. Don, welcome to the SQUAD. Yes, please it can be any type of vehicle, any size truck is more than welcomed. Curtis, great builds. Yes, please help spread the word any way you can, wherever you can. Let's see if we can build up a huge long caravan. And I think Jairus is right. If all of us build these machines this year, they will start popping up at all the show tables . . . you can be a proud participant in the 2012 POST APOCALYPSE TOOTHLESS ZOMBIE HUNTER SQUAD. Never stand down, just run those TZ's over with your groovy ground-shaking machines! TENHUT! Sgt. EYEGORE
  15. Love it! And I think the mild weathered touches are perfect. Nice model, and congrats. Can't wait to see what you cook up next!
  16. That's one wonderful toothy smile! Keep it going.
  17. Lordy, LORDY, LORDY! This thread is already gold. You guys are on your way. Yes, please keep up the amazing scratch-building. Speaking of which, if you guys have a local Games Workshop or Gaming Center in your area, swing by and see if they will give you some of the cool WARHAMMER 40K bits. Lots of places can hook you up with some amazing stuff like skulls, skeletons, weapons, etc . . . just a suggestion. Derrick, you are a real trooper going beyond the call of duty on those Zombie figs. Keep up the great work. Welcome everyone (SURE WE NEED MORE PARTICIPANTS) to the: 2012 TOOTHLESS ZOMBIE HUNTER "IT AIN'T OVER TILL IT'S OVER" SQUAD! Vroom! Vroom!
  18. Oh man, no, never, but it reminds us all to make sure to keep work in progress and our models far away from where we keep the paint, etc . . . I hope the cleanup wasn't too bad for ya.
  19. Well, if it's a guinea pig it most certainly doesn't look it. I think i'ts beautiful and you got lots of cool details into that engine bay. I agree with Erik, the colors are just right. Nice going.
  20. I think everyone of your builds is museum worthy, which is why I keep playing to Lotto. If I strike it rich one day, I'd like to have a model car museum. One can only dream, right? Great work, John. Mind-blowing indeed.
  21. We need to convince folks like John Teresi to sign up!
  22. That's terrible, but luckily everyone one made it out safe. Hope they stay in business for they've been a mainstay to the railroad model and diorama builders for years!
  23. Loving the way it's turning out to say the least. That headliner is looking perfect. The rust throughs are all in the right places. Keep it going, I think you are working on a beauty. Cheers, DC. Oh, and EYEGORE is nervously looking for his next fire hydrant!
  24. B-dub is right. The last thing we'd like with this type of build is to hamper your flow. Do what you think is working for you. Use the parts you think will help you come up with the best vehicle your imagination can muster. Does that make sense? The basic rules are there as guidelines. Personally, I have a few ideas, but nothing formalized yet. But you know I'll jump in a build another TZH vehicle soon enough. Good luck to everyone and happy building!
  25. Andy, the usual approach I take is to mock up everything to make sure there won't be any surprises, and that includes mocking up the wheels too, and then I paint. I usually also work with two models at the time so that I can keep mocking things up without touching the painted body too often. It works just fine. Good luck.
