That IS a wonderful idea.
I remember the very first model building tip I learned was the sprue-over-the-candle-flame-stretch and I still use it to this day.
Excellent vid, Andy. Yes, that's the trick. House of color has a chrome product that works in a similar way and the trick is also to just spray lightly so that the base shines through and gives the part that chrome look.
Oh YES, the eye candy keeps rolling in! Keep it coming, this already has the makings of the most heavily armed CARAVAN!
Derrick, PM me your address and I will get you some stuff pronto! The last thing I want (and I am sure you feel the same way) is to have delays in this Zombie-building process.
Cheers, DC
Great to have you aboard, Darren!
Derrick, I keep salivatin' over those Zombie figures . . . man, they are just so right!
Are you going to try to convert one into a Zombie driver figure? I hope so, that would be so cool.
By the way, if you need figures, I have a couple of those Tamiya campus friends I can send your way to modify.
Woah, a vehicle without wheels? Hum, a Zombie killer hover craft! I like the idea.
So yes, the rule now is: your vehicle must have 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and so on wheels . . .
LOL! Rob, that means you have to keep adding vehicles to the caravan. These are the kinds of builds that will make you lose your mind, and you might just be on your way there!
Bring it on, Peter. Looks like you are off to a great start. Keep it going.
Having lots of project on the bench only means you are having fun, staying young, and exercising your imagination, which is as it should be!
