  1. Kenn, it's amazing the amount of work you make for yourself, but then again, I think you are the only one in the world doing this with plastic. So bring it on, keep it going.
  2. Oh goody, here we go again, another thread that will deliver lots of eye-popping eye candy! Love it!
  3. Eelco, I will worry about when Zombies learn to surf!
  4. It sure is ugly, but I wonder what the Highway Patrol is going to think about them since they won't be able to blow them out on those runaway cars!
  5. I am assuming those of you who know a thing or two about Gassers can tell me if I am on the right track with my STYRENE ADDICT build. I hope you can help. Please let me know what you think. Again, it's a Lab-RAT-ory PHANTOM, obviously!
  6. HA! Well, I'm assuming you DON'T KNOW what Santa brought you? Or you do know? HA! Don't get too excited, you know half of my blood runs rusty and gunky. Sorry, I can't help it!
  7. That looks great, John. What are the blue bezels made out of? What I like about the way you scratch-build is all the imagineering you do, always!
  8. Tim, that's EXACTLY what I've been doing for the last 2 weeks, watching and painting, and learning a few new tips along the way.
  9. Tim, it sure does, I wear my Optivisor and it works very well. I am assuming there's enough ink in one cartridge to do quite a few cars!
  10. That would probably make driving a bit safer. Shoot, next thing you know they'll come up with a car that flies!
  11. LOL! Dan, you are in for a real treat. You will probably spend the whole day watching over 5 hours of great tips and techniques. Next thing you know you'll be painting 20 bodies back to back! Make sure your painting mask has new cartridges in it! Have fun!
  12. I have to say I am in love with Testors clear. It's giving some great results. Of course, I don't recommend it on white or off white vehicles.
  13. Bobby, sure, but careful with plastic parts, in particular if you are using a Paasche. The airbrush restorer from Auto Air Colors cleans the AB and leaves it brand spanking new.
  14. I do too, Joshua, but the Paasche H is real friendly. Once you get into a spray rhythm and pattern you'll be spraying paint like a styrene madman!
  15. Wow, Jim, I just checked and it is a lot cheaper. THANK YOU! http://www.misterart.com/searchResult/query~.13%2520Rapidograph~
  16. Good to know, Jim. I will keep it in mind. Thanks.
  17. They are having issues with keeping Tamiya products in stock. I've been trying to get my hands on the EXTRA THIN LIQUID CEMENT.
  18. Liquid Drano, that's what I use, but pour it and keep it in a glass bowl OUTSIDE! Protect your hands with latex gloves. Let the parts soak and then rinse them with water.
  19. Tim, here's the exploded view. The tip of the .13 is almost hair thin! Here's another one of a thicker one: the .35, but it give you an idea of how much thinner the tip is!
  20. Tim, here's the exploded view. The tip of the .13 is almost hair thin!
  21. Dick, that's a great tip, I will work on something like that. I was looking at metal cabinets are they are hard to find and or very expensive.
  22. Those flame masks are very cool.
  23. Begin with one part paint to two parts thinner. If that is too thin, then add a little bit more paint. Sure, if you ask I am sure your hobby shop will order it for you.
  24. Derrick, since you are in the process, remember that one of the 3 or 4 figures should be a driver figure. Wouldn't that be ultra cool? Have a Zombie in the driver's seat. I know Zombie don't drive, but I just think it would be SO COOL! I can't wait to see what you are coming up with!
