  1. The 41 Willys chassis was modified in order to have the VW cab fit right. The cab went through a four scale inch chop (approx.) and some of the panels reworked so that it would sit slightly lower, wheel wells modified to fit big meaty slicks . . . etc . . .
  2. So Doctor Cranky, who is working on way too many project, goes to the magazine stand and finds the work of Nate Greco in a hot rod magazine, and paging through the selection of Mr. Greco's drawings, he stumbles upon a piece called "What A Drag," and BOOM . . . the Doctor's imagination takes off running . . . By the way, if you want to get an eye-load of great ideas, please check out Mr. Greco's gallery at his website: http://www.disturbingthegrease.com/discography.html In the meantime work has begun on a loosely based project that combines a Hasegawa VW Panel Pick Up and, of course, one of my favorite kit's the John Mazmanian 41 Willy Gasser . . . and the rest is just pure fun and styrene addiction . . . Mind you EYEGORE has been working feverishly through the night at gathering the parts . . .

  5. Just in time for Halloween. You are suffering from the old Rust-o-licism or Chuck-i-tis as I like to call it. I keep coming back to eye it some more. A wicked, fun build. When you build something like this, EYEGORE tells me, you add about five years to your life!

  16. I don't really have any, except for a couple in of builds in my imagination that I would like to get down on styrene.
  17. You want to avoid frustration in particular if you are a beginner to the airbrush. If things go wrong you are likely to get turned off. My best advice, is save up for a better brush or put it on your holiday wish list.
