Thanks, yeah, I've been thinking about the possibility of using a rear end up front . . . today, if the temperature and weather hold, I will spraying primer. Oh, and no, the jury still out on the dualies . . . so don't give up hope. I haven't!!!
I am using one solid piece of brass tubing and then a piece of brass wire that goes inside . . . let me see if I can dig up the picture of the materials I use . . . hold on . . .
Here are my wheel and tire candidates so far. The dualy idea is still possible . . . I'm trying out different things, but I want the big/little combination to get a better raked stance to the whole thing . . .
I'm also adding this little perfect touch to the rear bumper . . . you know, like a foot rest or mud scraper or something!!!
These are all great things to think about. Of course, if I open the trunk, you know what it needs to be, right? Of course! What else? A cooler with cold beer!!!
The jury is still out on the dualies . . . we'll see . . .
Stay tuned in for some progress pics . . .
Thanks, HD. I think it is going to stay a trunk . . . I like the swoop down of the Caddy trunk. It's going to have a new bumper though . . . added to the existing one . . .
I love the way this one is looking so far . . . I guess you have a penchant for low to the ground builds. I have to confess I do too! Keep it going, chap.
