  1. The one to thank is Donn Yost, he's the culprit behind all this Pearl EX and enamel painting energy. I tell you something, Luke, that is one beautiful model and if I lived anywhere near you I'd love to see it in person. I just sent you a PM. Let me know. Best, DC
  2. All of the above and I am looking forward to seeing more.
  3. Good point, we learn to take our time and pay more attention to the process and the details. When I was a kid I just wanted to get the thing built and done with, and now I build to be on that wonderful styrene journey that sometimes, if I am lucky, takes me a few weeks or a month to finish. For me it's about the journey and what I learn and not so much about the finish product. Although, don't get me wrong, I enjoy and love the finish product. Well, perhaps not every time. LOL.
  4. Love the look of all of them. Down in the weeds is a great look for them indeed. Thanks for sharing.
  5. Excellent, and pretty subtle. Great job.
  6. Here's a recent beauty I've fallen in love with: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=64848
  7. What? No black? LOL. I love it, what a great color and build. Now, tell us, how did you get such steady lines on the body. My hands are too shakey these days to get such lines. Great job. Great pictures.
  8. Buddy, cut and done correctly, this material would make great cushions to bomber style seats. Or the seats you have are perfect too.
  9. It'd be a great idea to have a monthly BUILDER MODEL SHOWCASE FEATURE, and John would be at the top of my list. The other one would be Donn Yost, and so on . . . so many wonderful builders on this forum.
  10. Wow, great find, wonderful material. Keep it going, Mr. B. You got some nice details started.
  11. Beautiful work and progress. Thank you.
  12. Danny, I posted this because it's the video that Revell itself released on YOUTUBE where I first saw it and thought others would be interested in putting some of these kits on their radars. I'm am glad there are other threads with more details to augment the visuals of the Revell You Tube video.
  13. BEAUTIFUL, John. I wish I could say this is my favorite one of your builds, but I have a long list to add this one to.
  14. Revell just put this out on YOUTUBE.
  15. Greg, those wheels are excellent.
  16. Looking good. Love the interior and dashboard details.
  17. Darren, so very cool WIPS. Nice work, thanks for sharing.
  18. Chuck, would you be the first person trying to build a rat rod Enzo? That would be so cool.
  19. Take your time, take your time.
  20. Thanks, B.. Man, I look forward to seeing that Merc in paint.
  21. Jeff, love that truckster roadster. Nice.
  22. Yes, take your time on the doors.
  23. Did you scratch-build those pipes?
  24. Oh, those seats are a great idea. Nice touch.
  25. Eat some chicken wings and drink some MD and keep it going. LOL.
