  1. BVC500 sent me lenses for a Fujimi Daytona I'd lost, carefully packaged and "toot sweet" - asked nothing in return. And beeRS from England offered to do the same. Thanks a million!
  2. Beautiful job on this. I'm assuming the wheels/tyres were one piece and the detail paint is fantastic. Is it 1.25th?
  3. I'm always going to like a clean box-stock build and this is no exception. Specially like the opened grill and bed floor. Nice work.
  4. Good solution for a problematic kit (I have one too).
  5. Beautifully done!
  6. Fantastic - best Manx I've seen so far.
  7. Thanks so much eyeryone, much appreciated.

Not my genre but you did a great job. Very crisp foil.
  9. That is so slick! Beautiful paint.
  10. Looks pretty convincing to me.

Nice. My favourite Merc of the last few decades.
  12. So Pyro kits can look good afterall.
  13. Thanks very much guys. OK I'll try the denatured alcohol. (And look up "kablooie"!) Pete, I don't use brake fluid any more because it makes the plastic brittle. Delicate areas can then be easily broken.
  14. I can get lacquers and enamels off but nothing I've tried works on Tamiya's grey and white Fine Surface Primers. Anybody done this successfully?
  15. Pure nostalgia. I really like your take on this - creative ideas, well executed.
  16. You did a great job on the interior - just the right leather sheen on the seats.
  17. Amazing work. Bucket-loads of creativity on every page - and no small ammount of determination either.
  18. Those decals came out great.
  19. Looking good Richard, can't wait to see the black.
  20. Amazing mix of classic and modern but it all works. If GM was ever thinking a retro Corvette they should look you up.
  21. Very creative, out-of-the-box thinking going on here. If it all works out (as I'm sure it will) it will be a MAJOR achievement.
  22. Just discovered this truely amazing thread. It's like watching someone build a real car. Stunning.
  23. Very nice indeed. Certainly no sign of a trembling hand in that BMF.
  24. Another wonderful creation Jürgen! The wire wheels, interior, paint - everything absolutely spot-on. And all starting from a Bburago?!?!?! Incredible.
