    05 IMPERIAL

Nice paint and great colour choices.
  2. Another older, curbside build using Sikkens automotive base and clear coats, fine sanded and polished, as usual. I stripped the chrome grille and painted it, drilling out the headlights and replacing them as I went. I scratch built the mirror and bed gate chains, made the steering poseable and used Satco tyres. I sanded the scripts off the hood, hoping to replace them with chrome decals from the company I worked for at the time but, unfortunately, this never quite happened. 3. Nice!!!
  4. I keep coming back to your models, they really are outstanding. Having built this kit, I'm amazed at what you've done with it. The more I look, the more mods and added detail I see, all of it perfectly executed. The end result is more reminiscent of Gerald Wingrove than Italeri. Looking forward to more.
  5. Very nice, great paint and precise detailing.
  6. Very nice - great colours, excellent BMF and paint detail.
  7. I like this a lot, very nice restoration.
  8. Ron, that's really nice! Perfect colour.
  9. Nice work! The interior looks great and you got it to fit really well. How were the scripts on the spare wheel done? Looks like chrome transfers.
  10. Thanks for your comments. I love Tom's Olds - that's exactly what I was aiming for, don't know what went wrong!
  11. Apart from a little wiring, box stock. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  12. Yes please! Knowing your work, I bet it's great.
  13. I don't know anything about police cars so this is probably all very wrong. Just used what decals and lights I had on a whim. Paint is Sikkens, windows are acetate and tyres are Satco.
  14. Looking good.
  15. Very nice! I specially like the two-tone.
  16. The plastic in this original issue Revell kit was so swirl-free and nicely coloured that I decided not to paint it, just fine sand and polish it. It has Satco tyres and a few other small refinements like the mirror and the tail-gate chains. I stripped the chrome-plated grille, drilled out it's headlight buckets and painted it silver. I then replaced the headlights with Monogram 55 T/Bird items. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki
  17. You did a REALLY nice job on that! Great to see a stock van.
  18. Another great old Johan kit done curbside and pretty much like the box illustration. Exterior paint is Sikkens with Humbrol for the interior, windows are acetate (with BMF stripes) and tyres are Modelhaus. The fire extinguisher is from my parts box and I added a few other details to the interior. One day it will get an appropriate number plate, or so I said when I finished it 5 years ago. 19. Very nice, great paint finishes.
  20. Nice old truck - looks like someone had a go at cleaning it but gave up!
  21. Very nice indeed!
  22. Thanks everybody, I appreciate your comments.
