Wow! That's all I can say, really. The sheer creativity and attention to detail that went into this project would put any high level engineering project to shame. Awesome all around!

The simulated smoke (cotton ?) was a very nice touch.

A W E S O M E !!!! The Car is my all time favorite movie! I had a chance to buy one of the metal models of that car some years ago for 40 bucks, passed it up and I've been kicking myself ever since!!

Great build! To my eyes, it resembles one of those stolen cars that the cops occasionally find ditched in lakes and rivers (i.e., rusted and water logged) Convincing wreck/junkyard/derelict models are some of the hardest to build because of all the detail that is required but they are also the most rewarding because the person building them has to rely on his/her imagination and innovation. I've built a few but honestly, none of mine are nearly as good as this model or many others that I see on this site. I tip my hat to you

Awesome builds there, buddy. Had I found such a treasure beneath my own tree when I was a child, I would have clapped my hands, yelled and danced for joy. Now that I'm a grown man, if I were to find it under the tree, I would clap my hands, dance and THEN yell (Just to show I'm not a kid anymore )

This was a fairly nice make/model of automobile. I have the hearse model (which looks exactly the same except it is black, of course) in metal form.

Instead of the show, "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader ?", we need a new show: "Can You Build Better Than A 9 Year Old ?" The lad sure put me to shame. That was darn good!

Geeeeeeeeez oh man, what a great job! I swear, some of the models I see on this site are truly, literally works of art. I would never have even THOUGHT to treat the underside of any of my models. I give you credit, man. It looks awesome by any standard of judgment.

I give kudo's and salutes to guys such as yourself who have perfected the weathering/derelict model technique to a fine art. I build wreck models personally and while my work may qualify as 'good' or 'above average', builds like this one are nothing short of phenomenal. Great job!!

You did a GREAT job on this kit, no doubt about it! Much better than I've ever done, that's for sure. The detail is awesome.

I'm sorry to hear about your spill. Oddly enough, almost the EXACT same thing happened to me during a vacation in Germany some years ago, but I 'only' twisted my ankle a bit during the fall/stumble. If its any consolation, my supervisor at work is just getting over a broken ankle and her recovery has been quite rapid. I wish the same for you
