    It will be interesting what gets posted here. I would think for the Late 70's early 80's were pretty much like the Monogram Pro Stocks. I am building the 78 Dyno Don Fairmont and the chassis is mostly from the Thunderbird Pro Stock. There weren't any 60's Pro Stock since the Class started in 1970 didn't it?

    The red car was Bill Mitchel's car which was a little wider (2") and always had the big tail fin and was raced in 57 for Daytona speed trials. The 2 cars you posted are of the 1st SR-2 that was done for Jerry Earl (Harley's son) and had the lower fins initially but got the "big fin" after Mitchell's car debut.

    That would be a good idea for the headlight covers. I am also looking for some ideas on where to cut to extend the heade light/fender and grill area.

    I trying to make the extended nose and headlights done by GM Styling in 1956. What suggestions to do the extensions?

    That will make it very tough to build if I have to do a body buck 1st.

    Do you know of anyone who offers a "sample" size of Ren Shape? Seems like I remember that a while back that they had a "sample".

    I would like to see the articles that were in the Oct 1963 and Feb 1964 Car Model Magazine on the Sty-Ray custom Vette. Reportedly it was done in fiberglass.
