  9. I can not seem to get a straight edge to the new line, as the putty seems to be chipping away from the edges. I am using the back af an x-acto knife blade to recribe the lines. Is there a better tool, or ???

  12. Well, I guess that's about the half of it, anyone else have a Monogram 1/24th scale 69 Camaro?
  13. All of these are in need of rebuild.
  14. Thought since alot of other posters have posts about 69 Camaro's, I would start my own, so as not to hijack someone else's thread. This is my favorite year of Camaro, due to the many different options available. And my personal choice is the Monogram 1/24th, version for it's simplicity of build. Next would be the Revell for it's accuracy. I have many of those as well. Some of these are mine, some were bought off the 'bay. (only one pic per car) First up the builts, then the projects, Enjoy!
  15. Didn't they also make an 8? Camaro in 1/16th scale?
  16. Now that's just silly, who ever heard of a green cat?? j/k! It's looking great, I can't wait to see it finished!
  17. Is the rear spoiler on this kit seperate, or did you just accent the mounting position? It looks awesome!! You did a great job!
  18. And here I thought this was going to be a thread about doing a diarama of the last lap of the Daytona 500 .
  19. Thanks for the links, MrObsessive, but what I am looking for appears to be out of stock and discontinued? I am looking for Ambroid Plastic weld, but it appears that many places are out of stock on it right now? Category: Building Supplies → Glues → Plastic Cement 13% off Product Number: amb152-1 Your Price: $2.39 List Price: $2.77 Availability: Not in Stock, Temporarily Discontinued Manufacturer: Ambroid Specifications: .. Excellent plastic model cement. Improved, fast-drying, more aggressive formula. High concentration of polystyrene resin gives it super gap-filling qualities, high strength and resistance to running. Dries clear.
  20. I am specifically looking for glues, putty, and the like.
  21. So what would it take, to talk you out of that 70 Mercury Cougar 'vert body?
  22. Actually, I was kinda hoping this was a post about the Mustang II, King Cobra  I confess I don't know much about this King Cobra but we'll go with the infamous Carroll Shelby's A/C Cobra?
  23. Just one quick question: Why a Boss 302?
  24. It really needs a rear spoiler. Cool stripes though.
  25. Long time lurker first time posting here. I thought that in appreciation for such an informative and entertaining forum, I should actually post instead of just lurking. I am a die hard message board poster, but since I have been lurking here for so long, I thought I would begin contributing, if/when I can. I am Not as good as most of the builders, on here but I do my best. Unfortunetly, I am Not a very good photographer, either. My latest build: It's a 71 Cuda built on a shortened Challenger chassis, with Pegasus wheels, and a 71 GTX hood slightly customized to clear the Hemi engine. So, Hello, and I would also like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, and for those that are having a birthday this month or next, Happy birthday too! (mine's on Saturday).
