  1. Your header says " here's a good one" And it was.....so I would say its pretty darn specific.
  2. NO, its a hobbie.....taking money makes it illegal i think..or , wait...
  3. Is it something that the manufactures hire for? Or are you talking like movie production type of modeling jobs? I've never really thought about this untill it was brought up here. I couldnt imagine doing something I liked for a living
  4. I think it would be cool to see two cars lined up with 1320" of 220v cord coiled up behind them !!! LETER RIPP !!!! And its a built in safty shut down when the cord stops
  5. If they really sock it to the green team, they could run the engine off e99 to piggy back the lipo...
  6. That my friend is technology at its finest !!! The only problem I have with cars like that is when its labeled as "the fastest Coblat" or " the fastes PT crusier" Its a purpose built race car much like the Toyota that started this thread..but awesome machines none the less !!!
  7. I know when your racing electric rc, the farther into a race you get, the less your power potential is...I'm guessing the hybrid part plays very little into this...but man that thing looks killer.
  8. I'm still wondering how they plan on running in a 300hp class with a hybrid ? For any amount of time that is
  9. Look down a little farther in the main page. Some really cool stuff
  10. Sic man !!! Is it really a hybrid?
  11. I got one just like it Rob, check your local paper.. and when your done...he will get rid of all those pesky extra parts too....
  12. A professional is a person who is paid to undertake a specialised set of tasks and to complete them for a fee. The traditional professions were doctors, lawyers, clergymen, and commissioned military officers. Today, the term is applied to estate agents, surveyors, environmental scientists, forensic scientists, educators, and many more. The term is also used in sports to differentiate amateur players from those who are paid — hence "professional footballer" and "professional golfer". good ol' Wickapedia...wile it lasts anyway. Now, i guess my way of thinking is, is there a model car building profession?
  13. But, what makes them a "professional" ? If someone gives me 50 bucks to build a car, am I a "pro" ? I've seen plenty of poor box art builds.
  14. What is the definition of "pro built" ?
  15. The bigest so far is the rear axle is a tad bit to long. and I damaged one of the wheels a little getting the axle into them and trying to close the gap between all the parts. Now that its done, I wish I would have narrowed the whole assembly down a little. And I really dont like the way the carb scoops went together, but that might just be my skill showing vs.the kit. But some alignment pins would have been nice. If either of you are interested in the Munster coach that came with this one, I'd trade it off if you dont have one. I dont know if I'm real excited to build it. I got them together in a tin kit as part of an ebay lot.
  16. Look up the solid axles from speedway motors, pretty basic and very functional. Not to bad to replicate from styrene rod or aluminum tubing.
  17. Is it going to be a tanker ?? Lol I've never seen a snap big rig, perfect parts rig
  18. Are you going to use the conversion nose ? I've been thinking about doing the same but another 30 bucks.....
  19. I think I remember this from another thread a wile ago...so one of Johns years is equal to like.... 20 or so for me..is that about right ?? KILLER stuff man !!! Are the cars all 1/24 scale? I'm liking the metalic finishes.
  20. And no, its not about sunshine when someone call you out by name like I said, dont like it, dont read it. thats all, nothing more nothing less.
  21. Good day Ian, My day is smashing, thanks for asking. Wish I had your problem today. we havent had an inch yet, this time last year we were at about 15 or so.
  22. So far I'm not a big fan of the way the rear end/ trans are one unit and the way the axle tubes go together. The front end looks very weak, but I'm sure most rails like this are. I'm starting to wish I would have cut open the canopy and engine bay portions of the casket also.
