  1. If in fact he was going 40 to 50 mph, that doest say much for $200k all wheel drive cars. I had a $8k plymouth laser AWD that would skate at 40 all day long. Must be nice I guess, Wish I could say I wrecked a Lambo
  2. http://autos.yahoo.com/blogs/motoramic/truck-driver-wins-lamborghini-crashes-hours-later-220724449.html Anyone see this? I wonder what the tax was on that.
  3. Sorry bud, havent had any luck so far. May be an off season thing to find. But the way this season is going, may be tuff to find even then.
  4. At least GM was honest...sort of. "If I cant have it, no one can" Didnt stop them from trying to sell "Hummer" to the Chineese...hmmm...flip flopping..almost sounds political.
  5. I would check with Eastwood, they have pretty good combos. $200 to $300.
  6. Everything I hear, its based off the Dukes of Hazard one, Its ok for what it is. I wish I would have waited to get the street version. I would like to build a blown hemi over the nascar style intake version. Its my first non 1/24 scale so I'm not sure how it measures up to on a building stand point.
  7. Hotrod (starting to dislike the megabuck power machines the feature in every issue), Airbrush Action on and off as well as Scale Auto on and off. I just recently got an issue of Model Cars, so hopefully soon I can get that more offten.
  8. I was roaming around the other day and seen a posting of a 59 Impala built up into a bubble top flying type car. It looks really cool, and I got to thinking why I havent thought about something like that. Then I got to thinking a little deeper and realized that all I think about when I see an impala is a dripping wet candy job setting on chrome spokes. I see a 40s willys and I start thinking about solid axles and gmc blowers. I'm thinking its really starting to hinder my creativity. Coupes should be fenderless and flatheaded, vetts need bigger tubs and scoops..etc,etc... Anyone else have this problem ?
  9. I guess if its a contest car then everything adds up to points. I kinda like them, a badge of honer as it were.
  10. If thats not enough you can always make your exhaust smell like rootbeer...I wonder if they can add that to the colored rubber too....I smell a new trend coming
  11. CA glue wont though right? The freezer works for me, but again not on solvent glue that melts the two surfaces. I was not aware of debonders...good to know.
  12. Is it really that bad of a kit ??? Can I have it?
  13. Ahh...Touche my good man
  14. Where did your old one come from? What's your plans?
  15. How far are you venting this thing to the outside? maybe the smaller one pulling from the rear at all times to keep air moving, and the heavy one pulling from top or bottom just then your spraying?
  16. Very nice !!! Wasnt that one green...I had a history teacher that had a green one just like the one your talking about...acted alot like him too...kinda creepy now I think about it
  17. ....you just found that picture ??....Right?
  18. Me either bud...not the cool thing to do in these parts I guess, hard to find them
  19. ....the shakes have started to lift a little.. Now I know how those facyspace people feel..even if it is just to lurk around and see what others are up to.
  20. That is something else. looks to be a good resource to get some large scale parts also. Thanks for sharing
  21. At the time being I do not, I did it at lunch today, and I've got to get a new camara before i can post anymore pics, sorry
  22. I was able to get my grubby hands on some "lowrider magazine" plate inserts ( Thanks again Hector ) And I decided to try something new to me and maybe some others out there. I loaded the file Hector emailed me to a memory stick and headed out to the local instant photo shop (The great Wal of Mart) 28 cents latter I had a nice glossy finished plate incert, about 8 actualy. I'm going to have to try to scan some model magz now and see if I can scale them down as well. Like I said, new to me. Maybe someone else can get some ideas going off it as well.
