I found this thread about a year ago and could not believe the level of detail you created with machined brass and solder. Especially in 1/25 scale. Absolutely outstanding work. I think it will look great when finally finished, but the fun for me is in all the craftsmanship you have displayed for us.

This is excellent! The box art looks so good and the shot with it and the model is fantastic. Great idea and execution.

This is a great thread with the three of you doing similar builds. Fabulous idea. Clay, I was checking out the photos of the wheels and tires and really like how you made the "treads" look like real used slicks (crumbly stuff). Can you tell use how you did that?

Andy, Very nice build. Really good job on the decals. I don't have the patience for getting them to settle. I thought you would have more experience with the funny car kits based on the resin kits you make. Maybe you just used the chassis to mock up those kits. I have completed only one kit out of box and used many for the chassis on other builds: altereds like fiats, tees and bantams.
