  1. Nice start there , biscuit. Whatever happened to the Hupmobile project? Any updates?
  2. Really nice, had one of these years back and never built it, maybe I should have
  3. Very nice, I like the Canadian flag idea. Any problems with the kit itself? I had head light fitment and chrome that came off at the slightest touch.
  4. I have a couple of these made by AMT and IMC and are of course crude compared to the Tamiya product, but I cant wait until I get started on mine.
  5. Really cool paint work. Something struck me as different about this and lo and behold, I saw it was shortened by quite abit. Cool.
  6. Thanx everyone. S10man, don't have any plans for it yet. Maybe some 28 inch bling wheels and subs, uh , just kidding. I like sports cars and prolly build it stock when I get around to it. Although I may look on the web and see if any one had one in any other color than red.
  7. Thanx Jairus, a friend took the pics for me, so I don't know if I can change anything there but I just got a digi-cam and although it is a cheapie, I will learn to use it and see what happens. I guess the next question is...what is a image program? I'm a total idjit when it comes to computers.
  8. After dropping off some of my GFs yummy whole wheat rolls at the church bake sale, I stopped at the church further down the road as they were having a rummage sale. Woohoo, found five Revell and Monogram kits: Porsche 911 Slant nose/Monogram BMW 635/Monogram Testarossa Convertable/Monogram 87 Firebird/Monogram Thunderbird SC Coupe/Revell all these for the grand total of $10.00 total. It just happened to be my birthday as well.
  9. When I click on a thread here, some pages are the same width as my monitor screen, yet the next thread will have this super wide screen that I have to scroll sideways and back to read the text. Very annoying. Is there anyway to fix that?
  10. I'm almost afraid to open mine. LOL. Towards the end, Johan used whatever plastic that was in the hoppers. I do have a Turbine car molded in army man green. Remember those toy soldiers? The Turbines also were molded in bronze and white. As far as your Olds is concerned, I have heard of them being molded in tan, white, red, black, and aqua. I also have various SC/Ramblers in white, dark green and blue. I have a blue Marlin and I have seen a red one.
  11. Thanx for the compliments, but my pics are huge. How do I get them to be a more manageable size?
  12. Those really came out great. As was said earlier, you got that scale look to the paint jobs.
  13. Nice coupe , love the color. The Merc is cool too.
  14. Good to see a familiar name here. Welcome to the site.
  15. here are some pics of a Rebel I did in the early eighties. This is a Trumpeter Hong Qi I did. The frame required much work. This is a six banger 56 Chevy made from Revells really nice kit
  16. Yes, I admit it. My secret is that I calculate the time that the auction ends and bid on things that are ending in the middle of the night in most of the US...and if no one bids higher, I win it.
  17. Hi, really like that wagon, just recently acquired on of those on ebay,,, got ideas,,,got glue,,,got paint. Heheheheheheheheheheh
  18. Totally awsome model. I especially like the fact that you made the little flap behind the rear seat that folds up when you raise the seatback.
  19. HMMMMM, maybe I should drag mine out and build it. Looks nice, dude.
  20. Oooops, I guess it's working. LOL
  21. I am all for following the rules but the site wont let me add my name to the signature box or even any text. I dont wanna be banned from the site because of this. Please help and fix.
  22. HMMMM, looks like the big block body shape. So, the other AMT one is representative of the 289s we see in the US?
  23. One of my fave Fords, good build. And yes, you gotta love a woman that loves ANY old cars.
  24. Welcome to the site. Check the thread about Pictures. Pretty much tells you what to do. It's in the General Forum.
