  1. The prototype was displayed at the second Scout Nationals years ago.
  2. I use Archer. They have a sample sheet you can print off of their website to compare sizes and spacing.
  3. Relocated the door handle on the cargo doors and tweaked the body line a bit.
  4. Tackled another Ford project... A couple of the Firestone reissues spliced together for a supercab. First coat of primer on the roof, and passenger side. Still some work to do on the window opening.
  5. Yes. Im thinking a body, interior, frame, and then choice of side door as a separate piece. I will offer the side doors by themselves to fit the short kit body also.
  6. Worked on door gaps, and got some primer on. Still a couple little spots to deal with.
  7. Well, slight change.... Decided to cut out the sliding door, so I can offer it as an insert, with 4 versions. Slider without window, slider with window, split doors with windows, and split doors without windows.
  8. That body style is out there in diecast.
  9. Made some progress over the weekend. Floor is done and ready for primer, Frame is lengthened and ready for the rear extension, and, the body has had some surgery.....
  10. With a couple of the Crusing Van kits in my hands, I’ve started on another project that will be cast in the future. Lengthening the kit from 124” wheelbase to 138” for the club wagon, and eventually the even longer super wagon. Starting with the floor pan to keep everything straight.
  11. Another project that has been lurking in the shadows of my bench until recently, is my master of the sleeper that was on the Snowman’s GMC General in Smokey and the Bandit II. I think it’s starting to look oily something!
  12. Now available from Models by Dave. 60” McLaughlin “Super Suite” sleeper.... otherwise known an the Brougham sleeper. Designed to work with the Transtar 4300 kit. This sleeper was also used on 9300’s, and I offer a conversion for both the standard 9300, and the set back axle 9300 PM me for ordering information.
  13. Hmmm maybe I need to finish some masteremasters
  14. Thanks! The Travelall is all scratchbuilt. There is nothing that even comes close, so had to scratch it.
  15. Hmmmm maybe I’ll get back on the Travelall But first mire Scout parts! Heres the hood latch and washer bottle.
  16. Inner fenders are almost done.
  17. Reference isn’t a problem. My daily driver is a Scout.
  18. There will be correct inner fenders, washer and overflow bottle, hood latch, m/cyl and brackets, jack, rad, and fan shroud. Undecided on a correct steering box/coloum, and shock mounts.
  19. With the upcoming rerelease of the Scout SSII kit, I’ve decided to master some detail parts for the engine bay to correct some errors and add some interest to it. First piece ready for molding is the heater box for the right inner fender.
  20. Ryan closed up recently. WSM hobbies had a printed drop front axle. I’ll see if I can find the link
  21. Either will work fine. With some lengthening, the 4300 Transtar frame will work also.
