  1. As Jim Said, It's Mine and I will Do What IWant with it, this one is staying the way it Now is, I have a newer release of the same kit to chop up, Nick Jim was a also right, it is sort of a Model Barn Find in a way.
  2. Thanks Guys, let me just state this, this is now finished and how it will stay, all I did was clean it up and find the decals under a thin coat of paint which chipped away easily.

Got this as a built up and while repairing a few things chipped some of the paint, beneath were the decals, so I chipped as much off as I could CAREFULLY mind you. only before shot I have After a bath, polish and the paint chipping I did: Previous owner said that they built it as a kid when it first came out.   6. I keep my hobby budget seperate from the rest of my money, that way there is no effect by common things (gas, cost of parts, insurance etc) Ncik

  9. they are Duplicolor straight from the can (I did prime before paint and clear then polish after paint)
  10. My Favourites, the '57 will be joined by a '97 TMP Squad before the fall shows, the Camaro will be retired this year. I have a few I've built recently I really like Nick Here's 2 that'll come with me this year.
  11. On my bench tonight is my Cuda, same ol' same ol' and a friend of mines 440 that were putting together for the Lil' Red Truck I got him, it's his first build and I think I'm just as excited to be a part of it as he is. Yes the Carb is green, that was a fudge up by us, it'll be changed. Nick
  12. Mike good to see another installment of McNally PI on the forum, build looks great. Should look good in green, supprised the 1:1 isn't available in some shade of green, looks like the two kits fit together pretty well, that's a great thing to know, Mike think we can ever see all of the McNally PI Stories together? Actually a few days are going to be beach days , thanks for the help Rob, Wayne, and Mike's I did a search of those shops and wrote the addresses down, Actually I will be going through Atlanta but won't be stopping, hoping to make it to Northern Kentucky on my day of driving, did it last time hoping to do it again. At the Beginning of April I'll be going to St. Pete's to get a vehicle and bring it back, I'll be there for about a week and I am wondering if there are some good hobby shops in the immediate area that I could be pointed towards. I will have a vehicle, but do not want to travel out of St. Petes if I can help it. Thanks Nick

  17. Thanks guys, yes I've started going over what they need to once again be perfect (in my eyes anyway), on the list is a good cleaning and polish, new glass for the Impala and one tailight for the Vega as well as all the chrome being redone (thinking replated or alcalad) Nick

Had to go to a Funeral today for one of my Great Aunts, at the end of the Service one of my other Great Aunt's (family of 4 girls, 3 boys) said she had a box for me, sure enough she gave it to me, I didn't bother to open it then and just did, Below is a typed version of the note she included: Nicholas, The White truck is the company your Great Unlce Harold worked for when he came home from the War, He did well and ended up an executive.   23. Stampendous Embossing Powder for Carpet and Cloth surfaces. Found it at Michaels for If I remember $5 a jar, I've had this jar for 3 or so years and I've only gone through maybe 1/4 of the jar, and I do quite a few Black and white interiors. Nick

  25. Photographing equipment and tools at work and bringing home empty boxes to photo-reduce for my shop Diorama, my Co-worker and Boss weren't too sure till I started explaining, still think their unsure, they'll figure it out after I get around to doing that Camaro for my Boss. Nick
