    IF you can find the AMT proshop '57 kit it has a nice photoetch grille that looks really nice. it fits the Revell body perfectly.

    Plus back in the day the carb was often covered by the air cleaner so elaborate carb tooling mde little sense.

    You don't want alluminum (Fender tried it in the '50s)"because it will turn your hand black.You can use plexiglass or even stainless steel if you want metal.
