  4. Thanks!it is a well engineered kit and everything fits fine. The real test will come when I mate the interior and chassis to the body.
  5. i decided to paint the firewall and radiator bulkhead body color instead of semi-gloss black..More eye catching!
  6. painted and assembled the interior. I like the realistic finish!
  7. I don't do that although I must confess I have been tempted on several models over the years. The best method I use is to put it aside.call it some nasty names and go upstairs and do something else.I then will get back to it the next day in a calmer state of mind conducive to finding a logical solution to the modeling problem.Works well for me !
  8. You have a strong point !The older box on the bottom conveys a sense of drama. The one on the top makes the model look like a toy!
  9. Cool! i am building one now that i converted into a convertible! Can you post a pic of the underside?

  20. Here is the body after its first coat.I plan to airbrush 5 coats, let it cure for a week and polish it out to 12000 grit. Then i will airbrush a thin coat to covers the areas where I burnt through(this always happens when I polish a kit). Then I will clear coat it with Future if it is not glossy enough.
  21. Painted the engine block.
  22. I primered the engine, body and hood today.i may shoot a coat of flat white to brighten the red paint.
