  5. Yes the carpet monster is a known modeling menace that gets us all from time to time.Get out the flashlight and magnifying glass and find it!
  6. Well the kit is a good starting point but requires much modification(especially the engine) to make a decent replica.The multi-piece body and fenders require body work too!

  8. The kit-supplied steering wheel is very small,so I found a parts box replacement!
  9. I built the hardtop and it is a very good kit ,no major fit issues and pretty good detail.

  14. I use Tamiya Acrylics and Model Master Acryl so I can paint year round with no smell issues.The quality of the paint is fine and when cured for a few days can be polished out with no problems.I mix the paint if I can't find the color I want so its all good!

  19. i recently finished this Hubley diecast kit that i purchased in an un-painted and incomplete state.(see my 2 dollar flea market score thread in on the workbench).I used the windshield,headlights,bumpers and other small parts from the Monogram '31 Caddy kit.What do you think?
