  1. Oh yeah that thang is beautiful !!! I love the stripes on the roof. They look awesome
  2. See this is why I chose to get the 34' ford pickup, cause then I wont have to rebuild anything . It's just a straight drop down. Thanks for the pic's man. I can really see how much a chop looks better in the comparison pictures. Thanks
  3. Thanks for the update Andrea . You, your husband, and your family are in my prayers.
  4. Ohhhhhhhhhhh thanks !!! Sorry, guess I was just thinking too much into it and I forgot what I was doing . Thanks. I picked this one to chop partly because I saw yours, and party because I knew it would be easier than a 49 merc or a Willys to do. . Now I just need to go buy a new razor saw !!!
  5. Nice job on the 32 I also like how the weathered headers look !!!
  6. Thanks George, Now all I need to know is how to get that "golden brown" look when I take it out of the oven Naw, but after I cut the top off what do I do? Do I sand it down on a sanding block or cut underneath the tape on the bottom half of the cab so as to kind of take out a chunk of the pillars?
  7. The 32 sedan is a nice kit. Many possibilities
  8. Nice job on the Porsche Dale !!! I was thinking of buying this one next, when I finished up my 935 Martini. Did everything go together nicely ?
  9. Oooppps I'm not supposed to put it in the oven ????? Thanks Mike !!! After I cut it do I need to sand the top piece I cut off or the bottom piece of the cab? Or is the blade's width enough to give it a good chop?
  10. I'm sorry to here about your cat. I was never really a cat person, but losing any animal is hard. I had a boxer that was my best friend growing up. He got MS in his back legs when he was about 9 years old. He used to stay outside in a fenced in area around the back of our old house. When we moved to the new house we had to keep him in the basement all day because we didn't have a place for him yet. I would take him for walks and we would sit outside when I got home every day. After a while he couldn't use his back legs at all. We had to have him put down. It was sad, but he was better off. I don't know your religion, but I can picture my dog running around heaven chasing birds and rabbits . Maybe your cat is right beside my dog chasing them too
  11. I recently bought the Lindberg 34' ford pick up kit and I want to chop it. I have never chopped a top before, and i'm a little nervous about it. I bet I can do it if someone can provide a really good detailed explanation, with tons of pictures. I have this old thread bookmarked, but I still need a little more: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.p...mp;#entry100252 Any help at all is appreciated !!!
  12. Ohhhh. So I guess that this is a Summer-only car ?
