  1. Glue, Glue tips, and whatever tickles my fancy
  2. Nice job Marty, what engine are you planning ?
  3. Nice job Brian, I've been thinking of making a couple of these and an engine stand, but haven't got around to it yet . Once winter comes around I'll have more time to sit down and scratch build at my bench Really nice man !!!
  4. I messed with the front end and have lowered it a little more than it was. Now it looks a little better hopefully some pics tomorrow. I also might start on the engine if I'm lucky
  5. I agree completely with that !!! What colors are you thinking about throwing on it Bernard ?
  6. They really don't look that big , I guess it was the way I took the pics, but they are smaller in real life. Wow !!! Now that I look at the pics they look huge !! Maybe my next pics will make them look smaller. I think I won't have to cut the fenderwells. There is a little piece on the body that I might be able to trim so that the chassis slides up a little higher. You can see it on the 2nd picture in my 1st post. I have heard of the soda can idea and I am using it on my pro-stock 68' vette as we speak. I do like the look of the aluminum though. I'll figure out something.
  7. Thanks, I'm trying to see what I can do with the front end, but its looking like that's where it will stay. I might be able to get it a little lower, however it looks like I will have to do some cutting. I'll see what I can do. As for the color's those sound really nice. I like the pearl white idea
  8. Thanks man, I am probably going to use the 350 that came with it but add a modern intake and make it fuel injected.
  9. Oops !!! I almost forgot, I am thinking about using the cowl hood but I dunno ? Does it look a little too much ?
  10. Well I am going to start another model even though I haven't finished the other 3 or 4 builds that I've got going on Its the Revell 1969 Nova SS kit and so far it looks pretty good. It has been lowered and has a nascar rear end out of an old Nascar kit. The colors that I'm thinking of are either, white with black wheels, or silver with black wheels. Regardless it will have black wheels. Well enough talking here are the pics: The rear will be a little more higher but I need to paint the leaf springs first. Here I trimmed part of the chassis so those big pegasus wheels could fit under there As always thanks for looking !!!!!! :D
  11. Sweet !!! Can't wait
  12. Congrats Kevin !!! I am currently going to school to become a diesel mechanic. It's going to be hard, but I'm up to the challenge . Its people like you that inspire the rest of us to pursue our dreams and stick to it. Thanks !!!
