  2. :o :o :o That is very cool project. Nice colors too, will you add yellow stripes to the body? keep as posted Kostas.
  3. Hey Jim b, That was very helpful. Now I know. As I wrote, I like 18 wheelers, so I prefer class 7 & 8. But we are here because we love trucks and model trucking so if it is a model & if it is a truck I want to see it. (my opinion) Kostas.
  4. Hello @ all, I really like to see ''original'' 18 wheelers! Of course all US trucks are interesting to me. I can not understand US truck classes, so please if one of you guys could post some pics of trucks of all the classes would be very helpful for me. Regards Kostas.
  5. Hey Les, Very good looking trucks you have made! Your Peterbilts are copies of real trucks or products of your imagination? Anyway very nice work! Kostas.
  6. That is a very nice truck!!!! I think that you should post more pictures Kostas.
  7. Hey Tim, May I have the keys of the Aero? Pleeeeease . . . Great work once again ! ! ! Ok I think that it is time that we should all of us, sent a Tsunami of e-mails to ITALERI! They have to create modern model truck kits! Kostas.
  8. Phoneguy, Cool truck, nice color! Kostas.
  9. Thanks you Andy. Chuckyr it is a shame for SCANIA, because the latest SCANIA T164 conventional is a very nice looking truck and in combination with the longline sleeper it could be another beautiful truck in the USA. Also it is a shame for them because they pulled out of production all the conventional versions of their trucks because of the street limits we have here in Europe. When someone here decides to change the street limits this happens only for the load area or in order to make longer trailers. Kostas.
  10. Hey hey just a minute!!! That's why I love American trucks!!! huge sleepers, so many plated parts, long wheel base, so this so that, there are too many reasons. Here in Europe this long wheel base could be used for a rigid truck with all that space behind the cab used for load I like your version, who cares if this is out of law? I don't! I want to see more!!! Kostas.
  11. Hey boy, what a nice truck you have there!!!! I M P R E S I V E !!!! Kostas.
  12. @ all: I want to thanks you all boys for your welcome reply. @ Chris: Thanks you for your kind words. I like better American trucks than Europeans, especially conventional and I am planning to build many of them but I believe that it could be very fan for every one to try just for one time to build something different, from the usual, so I would like to suggest you if there is any European model truck that you like it go on it. I would like to build both the two giants of civil transportation Airbus A380 and QUEEN MARY II. I know these are not trucks but they are transportation marvels of our days. Kostas.
  13. Win, Very good looking truck you have there. I like the colors. Was your choice to have one exhaust or the kit has only one? Kostas.
  14. Hi James, Your truck is very nice. I really like brand new trucks or just ''cleaned'' but your weathering looks very realistic!!! I do prefer conventional not COE 's, as you may know here in Europe all the trucks are COE 's and the eye is bored to see again and again COE 's. waiting your next truck... Kostas.
  15. Les, thanks you for your tip. I have not idea about resins and at the moment I don't touch my resin kits. When I will finish the restorations I will start to build some European trucks in order to update my skills especially painting, and then I will go on American rigs. Kostas.
  16. Cool color combo!!! The completed kit will be fantastic. Seeing yours I think that I must restore my. Just a tip, if you are going to use the bull bar and you would like to have a model with a tilting hood (very nice V8 you have there), bull bar holders will must be modificated in order to let the hood to tilt. if you follow the drawings there is a mistake which is let the modeler to glue the bull bar holders and after that the hood cannot be tilted, but if you modify the bull bar holder, first the bull bar tilts and then the hood. Waiting to see more... Kostas
  17. Thanks you boys!!! Whell both KW t2000 & PETE 387 are DEELEGANT kits. I am very impresed by the quality. The problem with the hood hapened probably when shiping from the DEELEGANT to me and I dont know how to fix it (my skills ). I wish I could spend some more money to get their CORONADO. The floor fan is my fun and my best friend in the dark basement the hot days of summer. I tryed to upload some more pictures by I could not figure out what hapents. There is a limit of upload sise about 216.71k and I cannot continue. Anyway thanks you for your cinde words. Kostas
  18. Hello, my name is Kostas. allmost 30 years old and I leave in Athens Greece. I started building model trucks, back in 1994, being alone because model trucks are not very popular in Greece, until before 6 years when internet came to my life. I could never thought that model trucks could be so popular in other countries. The last 4 years I am thrue a period of not building model trucks, but I am still buying those I want to build and of course in order to get better my skills I am trying to restore some older builds. At the moment I have up to 8 trucks under restoration. Here is my workbench for more pictures go here: http://public.fotki.com/peterbilt-386/ Thanks for looking.
