  3. About the LONESTAR, If a model company produce it in 1/24 I will buy 10 pieces!!! I cannot understand what is going wrong with those model company s. WE WANT NEW TRUCK MODELS!!!! I am curious if someone of the well known model company s is reading not only this, but all the other model truck forums. Do they? If they do why they don't do something? THEY LOOSE MONEY!!! Excuse me my friends, but I had to take this out of me and share it with all of you. I see many of you having great scratch skills and your builds are really cool, but my skills are far low than yours and I want to build some things like you did but I don't have a fortune to spend to buy parts from resin casters. OK I did it once buying a PETERBILT 387 & KW T 2000 FROM Kuen at the de-elegant model trucks, but I cannot spend my money to buy 386 or 389 pete conversions. To be not misunderstood, I have not any problem with the resin casters, but If I would like to build a new PETERBILT for example I have to spend 36€ to buy the donor kit (I thing is about 45$) plus 30€ to buy the conversion kit plus the shipping cost. This means that I have to spend all this money for just one model. Yes but all this money is about to buy 3 kits. PS: Get ready, when I win the lottery I will create my own model company focused in US trucks. Greetings from Athens, Kostas.
  4. Nice & clean build!!! I love the color, now you should go for the trailer. Kostas,

  9. Hello Tim, This one is going to be outstanding!!! The color combo is amaizing and this green is fantastic! As I can see in the picture Sublime is lowered, are you going to lower yours? Greetings from Athens, Kostas.
  10. Hello Madd Trucker, I really don't know any good site to find details about SCANIA & MERCEDES engines, but you could visit their official sites or you should visit: http://www.wettringer-modellbauforum.de/forum/ This is a great European model truck forum and there you will find many many threads about European trucks under glass or in progress. The only problem is that this forum is only in German but the photos of the models displayed there are amazing. Despite the fact that now days I only collect models and not building them, I think that if you need any help just ask me. You can visit my fotki albums to see my stock off KITS and if you wish I can pm you pictures of the models you are interested as they are delivered in the box. Greetings from Athens, Kostas.
  11. Hi @ all, I have to agree that these are nice tractors. Tim, I thing that you should go on for this light blue PETERBILT !!! HE HE What is your opinion? Greetings from Athens, Kostas.
  12. Repstock, You have very good looking trucks there. Also the school bus! And the backdrop is really nice with the wooden fence. You should add 2 or 3 trees there and you will have a very nice diorama ta take pictures of your models. Keep us posted. Kostas.
  13. Hey Bill, That KNOX is amassing. I am not expert about weapons, but I do remember that our HS THRACE ex USS TRIPPE had a phalanx weapon sitting on the deck behind the helicopter deck. I have to say that I am very excited looking these pictures. Hellenic Navy used to have many other types of war ships from the US as like as ADAMS class and FRAM class destroyers. Now days they use S class frigates (I thing made in Holland) and MEKO class (HN have four of them, the first unit made in Germany and the following three units made in Greece). OK, OK lets go back to the truck discussion, because the other members of the forum may not be interested for this issue. This is a commercial vehicle forum, so lets talk trucks. Kostas.
  14. That is a unique truck for any truck collector. Nice and clean build, nice choice of color. Kostas.
  15. I am impressed, man you 're very talented and that is a gift. I like your work on this ship. I have to say that i was a crew member for 17 months on the HS THRACE (F-457) ex USS TRIPPE (FF-1075), for those who may don't know she is a KNOX class Frigate. I would like to see a scale model of a KNOX class frigate. OK lets go back to trucks... Kostas.
