  1. Rronning84, take a look here: http://www.modelltrucksandparts.at/shop/product_info.php?info=p1624_ITALERI-TRUCK-RIMS-IN-THE-SCALE-1-24.html This is a great online European shop. In the Italeri section there is a set of the Italeri rims sprue, that is offered standart in the European Trucks kits of Italeri. Also in the near past was availiable a plastic bag which had 12 Italeri tyres. Try them, and ask for both these sets. Kostas.
  2. Hey Tim, The Viper green looks awsome. The strange green on the 386 is fantastic!!! In the second photo, even also Rorry (is that corect???) your dog, looks confused with this strange color LOL PS: looking all your last builds, 378s 379s 386s 389s and now this ''full'' aero 386 I thing that know is the corect time for you to build one modern 53ft trailer... it would add that rolling_on_the_highway feeling. Kostas.
  3. My eyes are out of my head and rolling on the table!!! LOL Kostas.
  4. As usual, cool 378 Tim!!! The 330 is sweet. I am waiting to see a 386 with the side ferings you made... Kostas.
  5. Guys thanks you for your replies. I want to built correct 3 X 53ft (1 spread axles, 1 rearward tandem axles and 1 with forwarded tandem axles). After these and if remain anything I would like to build a grane trailer. Tim has one nice datailed and also I have seen many other's whict are also very nice. Madd Trucker, would you like to share these instructions, it sounds very - very interesting. New question about: European trailers have standard mounted axles (most of them 3 axles). I like the look of the US trailers when the axles are far back or spread. I can understand that the axles are adjastable in order to manage the weight on both the tracktor and trailer combination but I cannot understand the diference and the importance for each set up. also I would like to know how the adjustment happens, is there any hydraulic system or what? Thanks you all, Kostas.
  6. Nice work so far!! I have four KITS sitting and waiting their way to my workbench... I have two questions about this KIT: 1.I think that ITALERI missed the correct possition for the legs of the trailer and installed them to close to the midle of the trailer. Should them be installed more forward, closer to the frond of the trailer??? 2.Is this a correct replica of a real 48'' - except the height - which is incorrect??? Kostas.
  7. 10-4, I also love the movie and both with Maximum Overdrive are my favorites! I have also both the Songs (AC/DC Who made who & CW McCall Convoy) in my car, love to hear these two songs while driving. The Convoy song makes me feel what I would like to be: a truck driver in the US. Kostas.
  8. I had a similar question about the Revell 353, a few days ago and guess what???? Tim the live ''Peterpedia'' had an anwser for me!!! Kostas.
  9. W O W ! ! ! S U P E R B !!! Kostas

  13. Hello, As Jim B wrote, De_elegant model trucks fleet used to sell this kit in resin. I took one for me. Very nice kit!!! You can follow my link below to my Fotki album to see some pictures of the kit. I didn't know that Kuen has stoped the production of this kit By the way, as I have wrote in previous threads its a shame that model manufacturers aren't produsing new US trucks. Please note that these days ITALERI runs a kind of survey in their site, asking modelers the wishing list. I have already ''voted'' my wishes. All you guys are very lucky, because you are able to see those beauties every single day on the roads and some of you guys are ride them, but me here in Greece I can only see pictures of real rigs and you amazing ''better_than_real'' model trucks. Thats from me, Kostas.
  14. RyanSilva, you have done very nice work on the bed! Kostas.
  15. Cool rig!!! I like your truck so far, nice colors, huge sleeper! Do you have detail photos of making the fuel tanks? Keep the good work coming! Kostas.
  16. Hey Tim, Your PQI is much better than the real one, but I am sure that your trucks are not need this department!!! LOL ! Kostas.
  17. Hello PETE18, Welcome on board! Aswome work, your scratch build skills are amazing!!! I have seen your builds in the Plastimodelkits forum. I cannot read French, so its nice to have you here. Please post more pictures of your trucks in a good size Kostas.
  18. Good looking truck, amazing paint job!!! Kostas.
  19. Hello Philo, Happy new year, As far as I know, there is not any Kit of a dolly trailer. It is not difficult to scratch build one. If you want one with super single tires you have to scratch build the frame and use the air ride and wheels from the ITALERI curtain side trailer. You can also modify the frame rails of the curtain side trailer KIT. If you want a more strong/heavy dolly for your road train, you can use all the 3 axles of the curtain side trailer to build a 3 axles dolly. Greetings from Greece, Kostas.
  20. Oh boy..... This is fantastic!!! Hood & cab studio for 75$???? are you shipping to Greece? Kostas.
  21. I like this one! The frame rails are looking good stretched, you have done great job there. That blue PETERBILT is 378? have you already posted it before? If no, please post some photos.... Keep up the nice job. Kostas.
  22. Nice details, nice truck! Kostas
  23. Nice rig! I like the 2 holes wheels. Kostas.
  24. Well the following pictures are a mock up of the truck. The frame rails have been streched 10cm and because the chassis was damaged I decided to cover the frame by adding a piece of plastic Thats all till now. Now I have to scruchbuild two toolboxes to feel the gap between the headache rack and the drive axles, then to attach the quarter feders stolen from a FORD AEROMAX. I hope to finish this truck soon... LOL Happy new year, Kostas.
