  1. Sweet project! Love the color I paint a couple of model the same color years ago.
  2. For make the Driver, I used the same material used for the mask.

  4. I paint the mask... Looks that the paint has not problem to grip on the material I used to make it. Good so soon I will paint the driver...
  5. Sorry I got confused, I was thinking that you want the tires only. I will use the star wheels. But if you want the tires pm me your address and I will mail them. Sorry again for the confusion.
  6. I did a little progress too... The tires had some molding issue, so when I sand paper them, they were slick, not the kind of tire you want put on a 4x4... ;D My eyes are not happy with my decision to cut the tread on them... ;D Her the result, the left is with tread and the right is stock (after sand paper. And here one tire done, 4 more to go...

  8. I'm in Beaverton. I will use only the front tires from the kit, the other tire (in the picture) will go in the spare part box. If you need them let me know.
  9. A little progress, I start to build the driver, and here the mask.
  10. Here the comparison from the "old" body side and the new. And here the chassis, it is long almost 2 inches.
  11. Thanks for the information, I though it came only with the missile. WOW painting the plates, that's require very good eyes!

I had this kit from quite a while, I received it so without instructions, and after searching a little bit I think it came out from a old Airfix "Bristol Bloodhound", the kit has also a missile on a trailer, but I have only the Land Rover. I like only Jeep, so I will not build this as land Rover, but I will build the Spanish made one, called Santana Ligero 88. That was made in Spain from Santana Motors. Here the kit...

  16. The body is ready, I also start to paint the Chevy logo like on the cards.
  17. If you fly, put the models in a carry on bag. I try this myself last year, I went in Italy with a model, and no problem trough the airports.
  18. Some more work on the engine... The corvette body will be yellow, so I though to paint the seats with yellow and a red trim...
  19. Here some paint... And test fit the interior...
