  5. Thank you Dave! But I had to replace the body, first because I did not need the flip nose in this model, I preferred a one piece body, and second because the flip nose body require tons of works for fix it. Thank you John!
  6. Finally I get this one done... Here the WIP post: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=68811
  7. I need to decide in what color paint a Cobra, now I'm thinking to paint it in Guardsman blue, there is any spray can paint that is a good match? I found that the Model Master Artic Blue metallic looks similar. What do you think?
  8. I shoot the Duplicolor on a black primer and the result is little darker than the cap. What do you think, should it work for a '64 Cobra?
  9. Agree with you, plus seen the on picture it can compromise all. Your Tamiya Clear blue over silver looks also a close match. later if I can I will test the Duplicolor, and post pics. Thanks again!
  10. Thank you guys, I think I will test shot the duplicolor on different primer, maybe it became darker. I understand that it is difficult have the perfect match, but I'm getting kind of confused, some pictures of real Cobra in Viking Blue, are very light like more on the silverish, other are more darker... Look a this one. Here looks like the duplicolor... This one looks darker, almost a Nassau blue...
  11. I think this Duplicolor light blue is a good match, what do you think?
  12. Thank you for the suggestion. But there is nothing else ready in spray can, also a similar color would work.
  13. Testors, Tamiya or Duplicolor make a color (better if spraycan) that can use for replicate the Viking blue? Thanks!
  14. I'm pretty happy of the result, any comments are welcome. Here the WIP: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=69140
  15. Thank you again Bruce!!!
  16. Here a picture of the steering wheel and column and snorkel... Next the exhaust so it can go in the water like this one... ;D
