  8. wow, thats a sweet paint booth! what did you build it out of? I really want one, but can't afford the $500 that the good ones go for. I guess i need to look at other peoples booths and figure out how to do one for myself. Thanks for the tips!
  9. FIRST OF ALL...let me apologize for the corny shakespearean topic....now onto my question. I have been looking at the spray booths that are available on the market. Besides the electrical things, it seems like it'd be easy to build? Are they worth the money?

  15. I need some help here. some of you will notice that I am a newbie here, and am building one of my first models. I want it to look really good, but not sure exactly how to paint it. As far as primer, sanding, painting, polishing. Can some of you folks out there give me some ideas on how you've done your rigs? thanks!
  16. "...but I would simply rub out the paint and polish if I were doing a solid black paint job." im not sure what you mean about polishing and using thinner. I'm sorry, im VERY new to model building. I've started a few in the past but never have i gotten this far lol. i have some 600 grit sandpaper to sand down rough spots, but not sure how to apply thinner. Also what polish do i use when im done to make it shine? Thanks for all your help.
