  1. used to be the AAM Lincoln Mark VII(?) Scored a built up last month. Not sure what else I could need...I'll think of something
  2. I got a thing for caddies myself
  3. a limo just sold on ebay for 75 bucks. I think it's a repop of the resin though
  4. I think it's funny how your first kit to get back into the hobby after 30 years was around for 40 years. Definately get the Revell version. They've come up with this little thing called a detailed chassis-no more metal axles!
  5. someone on another board is doing the front clip swap and mentioned the 300 is a bit wider
  6. better your thumb than your crotch!
  7. geez, just PM me your address and I'll send you a 6 inch piece in the mail, you can cut it down to fit
  8. i'd get it, it's a fun looking car to mess with
  9. Hi! Welcome to 7 years ago! We can only hope that something, anything progresses
  10. OK, I thought maybe you were an Jada rep just pushing the product. They're nice cars, but not my or most modelers' thing. I do like that notchback bug tho
  11. all this guy does is rep jada models. Pretty close to spamming, don't you have any real models to show?
  12. yes, I meant the custom grille, and I had heard one of the first issues came without the funky looking headlights smack dab in the middle. I dunno, I just heard something about it a while ago and would like it, it's a nice clean custom touch
  13. the headlights in the middle? I heard someone is in resin
  14. nice! Sign me up. Will they fit any other tire? My favorite kit supplied tire is the whitewalls from R/M
  15. 90s would be nice too, any aftermarket company making them?
  16. I like the Detailmaster set, comes in various colors and it's pretty easy to put together
  17. I'm deathly afraid of clearing because after all the work I may put in on a paintjob, if the clear isn't just right, it blows everything up. I use HOK paints supplied by Black Gold. If I'm reading right, this Gunze/Mr. Hobby B-501 clear gloss will be good for anything? I'd rather just spray bomb clear and buff it out instead of taking the time to set up the airbrush. What's the drying time like?
  18. any tracks or clubs in the Denver area? Looking for more 1/25 scale
  19. Very interesting build up, I'm keeping an eye on this one. Sounds like an engine swap may be necessary for me.
  20. I just got this kit and one of the first things I noticed was how the majority of the frame is hollow. Have you gotten far enough along to see if any of the hollow sections are visible in the engine compartment?
  21. I got my first one, a built up 71 and was disappointed to see it had the one peice chassis/suspension. Were all of them like that? Any suggestions for a more detailed donor? Anybody got a scan of the instruction sheet? thanks!
  22. I got lucky earlier this year and met Armando Flores, who's one of the best lowrider builders of all time. I think other than that, I'd like to meet Mark G as well.
  23. Hey Bill, long time. I saw Herb this spring at the NNL in Santa Monica. He still was selling wheels, but he mentioned that once he's out, that's it
  24. I think everyone knows that resin bodies tend to warp some if not kept in the right conditions like temperature or not sitting right in the box. Do these problems continue once it's painted and built? The real thin bodies are nice because they're about as close to plastic as they get, but man do they get twisty. Maybe the paint and glass and interior helps keep them straight? Anybody run into problems? here's a few of mine http://public.fotki.com/BigPoppa/kriss_stu...sin_model_cars/
