  1. Pretty cool, the things we do for our kids
  2. I would start with having the guy supply you with the materials, that way if the sale don't go through you are only out your time.
  3. I get that I look familiar a lot.
  4. Over the weekend I bought three dirtbikes for my son,my daughters boyfriend and myself. My hobby room may be sacrificed.
  5. J would think a Ford F150 Lightning would do ok doing what a Ferrari does where as a Ferrari would be useless doing what a Ford F150 can do. How do you like them apples.
  6. Saw the SLS at the Philly auto show today, gorgeous.
  7. No pictures is a drawback but in no way let it sway you from purchasing. Here is a 61 Impala from Don and some tires as well.
  8. Walmart is evil, they are responsible for crime, famine And teenage pregnancy.
  9. Nice. been there,done that!
  10. You know the story, Rich get richer, Poor get poorer.
  11. The first issue is for sale on emodelcars, Plus it is autograph by el jefe.(Gregg)
  12. Haven't messed with any models lately, but picked these up over the past month. R&R 79 Malibu
  13. Jon,I'm not 100% sure there the same tires I have from Modelhaus but I had luck with AMT's 70 Impala and Revell's new Duece.
  14. They were both good games, I was looking for Bears/Steelers but figured Packers/Steelers. Since the Packers beat the Eagles and Steelers are in Pa. I have to go with the Iron Curtain!! Really was looking for the Bears from a nostalgia point. SNL's Da Bears skit,Icky Shuffle and cool man McMahon made a fan out of me when I was young. Next year is the Lions year .
  15. I'm in the same boat, just outgrew our home and the toys are partially to blame.
  16. Sounds like a decent idea to me. Of course all will not be interested, but all that are interested should in turn bid on something as well. I tend to buy a kit or three a week, and some are impulse buys that I'd be willing to part with.
  17. Gregg, how's your build going,is it in the workbench, do you have any photos? Harry, are you working on this kit as well?
  18. Awesome pictures and I agree insane is a dead on description.
  19. Good luck with the open house. Sounds like a nice event.
  20. Nnl east is in jersey around April. I'm sure there are some shows local just not sure of how you would find out besides here or Google. Or maybe a model club or hobby shop locally can advise you. Good luck and if you can make it to the NNL East you will be in heaven.
  21. Jose, I understand where your coming from. You found a niche that you enjoy and are comfortable doing. I like big bodies and my stash reflects this. I also enjoy the Nostalgic part of the hobby and sometimes feel like just getting rid of all kits produced after the 70's. But I always feel like as soon as I part with something I will want it. Keep this in mind.
  22. I'm looking on my phone at the beemer, I'm scrolling side to side,up and down to see the whole picture. At first I don't notice what is odd, then I almost fell over.
  23. Just an idea for a topic, seems to come up often and maybe we can keep it in one place.
