Been wondering this for a while. Do you think any modern kits will be valuable down the road? Like we have the Johan's,mpc anuals from 40 years ago fetching big dollars today. Are you stashing any current kits with the hopes of future returns?

You and yours are in my prayers.

There is something worse than snow, ICE. And we got it last night, powers out, just spent a hour cutting up a tree so my wife could get out the driveway and off to work. Today is going to be lame.

Just your average addiction,um,hobby. ?Okay, I wanna play...
I haven't cut my first part off of a tree yet, but I've been buying models off of eBay. Addictive in itself. This weeks' buys include-
Two VW bugs, a '68 and a Cabriolet. Both Revells.
The old (1988) Monogram Steve Butler sprint car
Revell '26 T Delivery
Small-block Chevy race motor
AMT/ERTL '57 Chevy Bel Air
Revell '57 Chevy Bel Air
Monogram '57 Chevy Nomad
Revell Peterbilt 359 (for my wife- she LOVES the big rigs)
and a Revell Kurtis-Kraft Offenhauser midget
Along with the sprint car and super-mod kits I already have I think I'm done, and need to start buildin'. Except I really would like a couple old dirt modifieds. And I need to order some resin stuff to dress these things up.
What have I gotten into here?

Congratulations to the Seattle Seahawks and their fans. I think it was a good game and a well deserved win.

I have a few locally. Only two are convenient and I stop by probably twice a month.
A few other that are out of the way or a little far I have only been to once or twice.
I am about due for a Saturday drive to the out of the way ones.

This is one heck of a model, I don't know if it's the color, paint or subject but this stands out to me. She's a beauty.

I personally like the not serious models?! Yours looks good.

Looks good. Me and my son built that one, it was blue too.

Looks good and that's a cool kit.

That's a lot of car and a lot of model. Looks fantastic.

I've only been to one once. It was a pretty cool store. Off the beaten path for me though.

Some good insight. Kind of what I was thinking, nothing is rare or worth saving that is from current times. Lol. The only thing I could think of is a big IF, say moebius stopped making cars and truck models than I would think they would gain value quickly.
