I still see that NO ONE that orignally joined still has replyed except for diymirage. Come on, is it REALLY that hard to let dukefan69' know whats going on with your entry? I mean there was some great builds on here that where coming along great and it feels like now that the only participants are new guys, not the guys who decide to participate from the begining.

WOW what a nice build. Even though I think it should be a little ruster because mines a 99 and it's got rust problems!! But yea good build can't wait to see what you work on next. BTW that black piller you painted on wasn't on the sls sonoma's. Just lettin you know But good job.

Nice s10! Yea those cab corners are the first thing to go on these trucks. I have a '99 ext cab sls and my driver side cab corner was gone, but yet the pasenger side is still solid as the rest of the truck!?!? And your cab corners don't look that bad compared to mine, but mine rotted from the inside out so I didn't know till I was feeling around where it was bubbled and I stuck my finger through it!!! Yea I was mad!! If you want go check mine out in the 1:1 section. BTW what do you plan on doing to it?

I see that this build off has died off like most do. Is there any updates anybody? I always liked watching this thread and hpe people will start posting again.

My bench used to look like these, MESSY!! But I had to clean it up because the plumer was coming to fix the pluged up kitchen pipe and it was right above my work bench!! Oh well it's clean now and it's amasing what you find that you've lost for sooooo long!!

Hey guys! Well I'm starting a new thred on here that is my favorite on another site. Every saturday post some pics of what your work bench looks like and whats on it!! I really hope everybody desides to participate! I know it's a day late but my computer was being stupid last nite. Sweet! Your starting it! This is going to be really cool one your done. I also like the color alot too. Some day when I get enough cash I'm going to paint my 1:1 black.

Nice!! How did you do the grill, lights and front bumper, I want to build one Of my 1:1 sonoma! I've got pictures of it in the 1:1 picure section.

Ok, when I fill stuff I first adress how bad it is. What are you filling because some things can`t just be filled a call it done. I used to use regular old bondo but the other night I picked up some spot putty and it works great!! The difference between spot putty is that spot putty is made for real cars and it's (I think) better to use because it drys quicker. Model putty is good but most people use bondo or spot putty because you get alot more for your $! I find the only good model putty is taymia putty works GREAT but I can't find it anymore. Also for body work you want to get future floor wax so after you do your body work you put a coat of it on and your ready to paint! future is also good for putting on your final paint job so it shines and you can apply it with a brush!! Hoped this helped!

You'll see what I mean because If it did go gold I would two tone with black on the top, and MAYBE do the cage in gold but I think it would look better in black.

Hey guys!! update!!! Ok I've been workin on it on and off for about a month. First I shortend the rear mustang axle so it would fit the slicks. Than I made my first roll cage and I think it turned out pretty good for my first try. Now I have been workin on the body work for a while now and it's almost ready for paint!!! But I do still have some work to do like build the bed, (which I still haven't done yet) And get the body, door jambs and the half cab finished but there close!! I have a question for you guys what color should I paint it? blue with red roll cage and frame OR testors one coat laqeur inca gold with black accents? Let me know and here are some pics!! Thanks for lookin guys and tell me what you think and what color I should paint it!

I know but i've built so many in the past I have no idea what to do with it. I've looked around but really I just want to see some stuff to get my creative juices flowing again. Right now I'm trying to finish a custom tow truck so I'm trying to get some ideas before I get the kit.

I need to see some trucks for some inspiration! I'm waiting on a 99 silverado and I don't know the way I should build it! So if you got any truck builds, and it dosen't matter what they are as long as they are trucks!! post em here! THANKS!!

I'll probly be in, I like building factory stuff anyways. I'm going to enter a 1999 silverado. I've got dealer brochers of the truck from 1999 so I got all the information needed! This is going to be a good build off.
