  1. I finaly got some paint for my street kings charger, but I was in walmart, and foud this little jem I have been lookin for, for a long time, johnny lightning 1/64 92 gmc typhoon. Now all I'm waiting for is the syclone kit so I can make a 1/25 typhoon, even though it will take alot of work.
  2. well here's a quick update on the charger, got the rims and grill chrome striped, and got the rims painted black, the body in primer and the trany in silver and the block in hemi orange, can't really work on this till I get paint, which is tommorrow. this is going to be a pretty quick build, because I got other things that I want to finish, and this is a pretty plan car I'm building, but great kit, but still, I'm going to work on the engine tommorrow, thanks for lookin
  3. nice lookin ride. I personlly like the camaro and challenger better but 10,000 dealer mark up?? WOW I probly would of done the same thing, cool car though.
  4. if you do find one though, I heated up and bent the leef springs to get that ride hight, because the scout suspension was even lower then the cameo's stock suspension and I used the drive shaft from the cameo.
  5. Ok thanks, I'll get started on it when I get some paint, might start the interior tonight if I finish watching the movie early enough.
  6. no, it's in there, just didn't get a pic with the engine compartment completly finished
  7. Hey Nick, I'm going to join in on this. The car I'm replicating is from a movie I saw a couple of years ago, called street kings. The car is a black 06 dodge charger srt8, with blacked out rims and tail lights. I couldn't deside what color to paint it so I desided to go this route. Here's the 1:1 car: I'm going to use lindenburgs charger super bee, same car, just with out the super bee colors. i'll be starting on this when I get some paint. So let me know if this I can enter.
  8. Oh yea, here is the engine, the rad and battery weren't in yet.
  9. The 55 cameo is done! more pics under glass.
  10. well, I desided to knock this thing out yesterday, got finished a 11:06pm, I was tired but it was worth it. The paint is duplicolor gloss red, the full suspension is from the international scout, and the chrome engine accesries are from the revell 55 bel air, they fit perfect! I had alot of fun building this one, a bit of a pain to bmf, but I like it. thanks for lookin
  11. another quick update, got up at 6 this morning, couldn't sleep and had nothing better to do today so I desided to knock this thing out, it's now 11:08 here and the cameo is done!! Pics tommorrow, I'm VERY happy how this turned out!
  12. Well, I'll give you an update anyways! The cameo is 98% finished, tommorrow there will be finished pics.
  13. quick update the cameo, I got the cab and bed in color, not cleared yet, I'm trying to get this off my bench, got too many other projects. I'm going to let it sit tonight and clear it tommorrow morning.
  14. quick update the cameo, I got the cab and bed in color, not cleared yet, I'm trying to get this off my bench, got too many other projects, and that 81 bronco for this build off also. I'm going to let it sit tonight and clear it tommorrow morning.
  15. Sounds like you had fun man! I was walking over town at lunch to get some pizza, and sitting at the gm collsion centre, 1 cyber grey and 1 black one, man there nice cars, I like em better then the mustangs, alot, I liked the cyber grey better, maybe because I built 1 in that color. And I wish my school had auto shop, all my school is about is sports, which I hate.
  16. well I was going to join this, to try something new but just don't have time, I ahve so many other builds and build off's that I'm just overwhelmed!!! I was going to enter a 66 chevelle wagon on chevy monster truck suspension, but I just don't have the time, which sucks! Looks like fun!!
  17. well I'm still waiting on any wod from revell on the 1992 gmc syclone......waiting.....
  18. well, on the site it said it was an 89 so maybe her's was an early 90? I'm trying to find out more about this thing.
  19. Yea I thought the were hubcaps, yea it is the sport which is like the base daytona so they probly weren't very popular.
  20. Accually I think I've seen more women driving mustangs then any other, but the challenger and camaro are new so who knows???
  21. and here is pics of the 1:1 interior: This thing is going to take a while though but I think it will look good once done, and I like the way these look better then the shelby's or turbo one's.
  22. well, I,m working on this on the side while I work on my camaro. I got lucky this week and found this and a 81 bronco. Well I've been wanting to do this for awhile but haven't been able to find this kit till now. It's the 88 daytona, which I'm going to make a 90, not very many body modifications needed but the interior has to be completly redone because(I don't know when they changed it, but the kit interior and the 90 is different)I've already cut off the lower body lip that was on the kit, shaved the vents on the hood, and still have to add a piece of thin styrene to get it exectly right. I'm still trying to find something I can do for the rims. Out of all the pics on the net, NOT ONE has the same rims, but my mom said she bought it like that, so I don't know. This one is going to be awhile though because I want it just like pics. the pics: how the body came: and how it looks now:
  23. oh don't worry I didn't, I'm putting it aside right now because I'm working on a replica of my mom's daytona right now.
  24. Well I went to my lhs today to see if the silverado came in yet, well it didn't but I found something else that has got me real excited!! amt 81 bronco, it looks really sweet, going to be pretty much box stock except I might swap in a 5.0 from a 92 mustang, we'll see.
