  1. ok. So I saw this kit at my lhs and was wondering if it comes with the basket weave rims? I need to know because I want those rims for the 90 daytona replica I'm building. Here's the rims: and I know the rims aren't exactly the same but there as close as I will get, So let me know, thanks!
  2. yea, I might be late too, but feel free to use any of my builds too. my photobucket I have everything in there but my finished builds start on page 4 and go back to 5, 6, and so on.
  3. Wow that is awesome!! Love the way it looks! The whole concept does work together quite well. But I think you should sharpy or paint the edge of the windows black to make it more realestic.
  4. Well guys I'm going to be taking the 81 bronco out of this, because I have other builds that need to get done and plus I have some plans that arn't 4x4 releated, a 5.0 from a 92 mustang and lowered down something like this oh yea. I did finish my cameo though! I just want to make it really cool and the way I want it, since these are hard to find around here.
  5. Ok, quick update, I FINALLY have got a chance to build again, so I got the dash done, two toned like it's suposed to be like on the 1:1, working on painting everything else, this interior is VERY tricky to paint. BTW sorry for the crappy pics, took em real quick. Thanks for lookin
  6. Happy 1 year! I'e only been here since july but have meet some cool people including you, so hopefully you get a new camera so we can see some updates!
  7. The guy already parted it out, and one of the rims was bent on the inside.
  8. The guy said the woman rear ended him at 70mph, These trucks aren't the safest though, I gotta admit.
  9. So I love gm s-series trucks, I was brousing the s10 forum and came across this, some woman ran into the back of him and totaled it, man what a beutiful truck too. WAS a extreme but it was debodykitted and the normal s10 bumbers installed, had a cowel hood, corvette rims, just a all around nice truck, too bad, I loved it! If you look closly the bumper from the other car is sill stuck to it and one of the vette rims got screwed up. SEE?? I look at these trucks wrecked all the time but this one hit me hard, makes me want to cry!!!
  10. When I draw, I usally sketch something real quick, label it then I do the good one. I surf the net looking for a pic that's close to what I want to draw then I just eyeball it. I can't trace, just suck, but I find it's easier to have the photo beside my paper and draw 1 line at a time.
  11. cool truck, you do know you can get a photobucket app for your iPhone, I use it all the time and it works great!
  12. you mean this template? give some specs like color, grill, interior color and I'll make ya one Nick, let me know.
  13. If you guys want one in a different color or any modifications I can probly do it for ya, let me know, pretty easy!
  14. yea that is how yea do it, here is 1 idea for my truck, drew the plan in bio class today! stock: Customized: mods: 97 s10 front clip new rims lowered blacked out trim red bowtie on the front red ss and sonoma badges and sonoma in red painted on the side those are some plans, for now!
  15. That's kinda cool! Now, I don't care what people call these things, I like em stock, made to do what they were oringally designed to do. I think people hate hummers because there's the people out there who rice these things out with 30" chrome spinners, crazy paint, and dumb sound systems. If I had the money I would buy one, but keep it stock and take though some mud holes! But most people that own these things have too much money and not enough brains, I like that one though, it's different!
  16. Maybe black with flames and a old, unquie style shop decal on it, or maybe a turquise(how ever you spell it?) 50's color with cream colored bumbers and stuff.
  17. well, I was brousing the s10 forum and asked a guy how he did this, and sent me the link with the templates, pretty cool. Here is the link: http://database.mangacars.fr/index.php?sessionid=lmd537q3m4erd9u2g0icha68t0 You can use ms paint, photshop or stuff like that, and it's pretty easy and there is alot of different ones. Here is my truck I did, I know the brown is WAY off but it was my first time doing it. Plan on making one with future plans of my truck next.
  18. Yea the f250 is being reissued, not the f350, I'm not even a ford guy but I would buy alot of those f350 kits. Btw did you add my name to the list? Just wondering.
  19. I'm in, Jared Roach. I agree that we need the trucks, and people say they won't sell well, I think differently. Alot of people would love to have a kit of there own truck(I know I would). I find at my hobby store the late model trucks fly off the shelves, it sucks for me but it brings hope. Some person that has never modeled before could be like "look! There's a model of my truck!" then that person will buy it and there for more sales. I would love to see any kind of truck, other then the common classic ones that get old after a while. Also there is no harm in trying. Good idea.
  20. Thats the problem, don't have microsoft word, had to clean out the computer and deleted it, now I can't get it back.
  21. oh yep!! I'll post my 1:1 brown sonoma over there!!
  22. well, for my street kings srt8 charger I made the plate, problem is is that I don't have any programs that I can use to make it 1/25 scale, can some one just down size it real quick for me and post it here? If it would work, then I can print it off and put it on the car, I need two by the way, here is the plate: and here is the plain one: not sure how californa lisence plates work.
