  3. Looks nice Nick, nothin like a plain ol' chev truck!i
  4. I'm just gonna leave a quick comment here. I've seen Nick improving since I have joined here. When Nicks camera died, and the time he got the new one, I think his builds have improved GREATLY!! I know alot of people try to help, but let me tell ya, some days your sick n tired of other "rude" comments, that ya have no paitents anymore, and other times some comments are unexceptable, some people wanna help, that is great, but other people just want to stir the pot. I'm 15 so me and Nick are pretty much in the same situation, still learning, but haven fun doing it.
  5. That thing looks cool, like the colors.
  6. Lookin awesome, another s-series I love, great job. Btw you should make a ext cab or crew cab s10.
  7. You know this is my favorite build of yours! I think ya know why.
  8. yep I am, just got to finish typing it and get some pics, I just gotta remeber what size the are now.
  9. Ok sweet thanks, no offence taken. ya that part was gonna be redone because of the joints anyways, thanks.
  10. No problem, just trying to do my thing and help people if needed.
  11. Here's a quick update on this guys. I wasn't going to open the doors, but since I'm building a frame and everything else I thought I might as well. Got them hinged and working great. The rear body work is still being and the rest of the body work. I broke 1 of the rocker panels but it is renforced and glued back together. here is the pics, but still not sure about how I'm gonna do the jambs because my scratch built interior tub is thin. If the doors look like the arn't striaght it was the way the body was sitting on the chassis, but they are straight. Thanks for looking guys
  12. ok, are you gonna post it on your site?
  13. It is evergreen rectangular rod, #177 and I am not exectly sure what size it is but I think it is 100x .156" or 2.5 x 4.0mm I think, but again, not entirlly 100% sure
  14. Ok cool Nick. What did the guy do? Couldn't he reuse the trim or did he break it when removing it? Do ya got any updates? Not rushing, just wondering.
  15. Here's a link to mine thats still not done, but the interior and chassis are completely done. http://theyoutubemcf.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=muslcecars&action=display&thread=159
  16. oh if your looking for new tahoe fender badges you can get 2 from lmc truck for 25 bucks, kinda pricey but better then the s-15 badges. not suure if those are right though. http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cst/full.aspx?Page=82
  17. Yep go with the charger srt8. It is beutifully molded, LOTS of pieces that fit great and it is a blast to build, it has steerable suspension too, but the wheels are a bit small. It's a great kit, the paint got messed up on so that's were I left it for now. Btw I'm building mine as the black srt8 from the movie street kings. I'll get ya link to mine later.
  18. Looks sweet Nick! But you gotta finish the body work on the back side windows first. It won't look good at all, trust me take the time to finish the windows and THEN paint it, it will look alot better. Lookin good other wise thoug Nick.
  19. Yep the bags are o-rings and rivits that were cut down. I can do a how to if ya want. As for the interior guys I'm stuck on what i'm gonna do for the door panels, so right now I'm trying to figure that out and there will be an update in a little bit.
  20. ok so I finally got an update on this! I continued to get some of the frame done, but I still gotta fins the rear axle I want to use. I also plan on 4-linking it. I seen a 1:1 s10 done like this on the net so thats what I'm basing the rest of the suspension off of. Yes it might look weird right now but trust me, it'll work, and i'm also gonna do some of the frame over again because I'm not happy with the joints. I also desided to shave the whole rear end, because it was a pain to get around all those curves, and I also still need to build a roll pan. Now here's the pics guys: here's the air bags I made: The chassis: Thanks for looking guys.
  21. Oh wow this is gonna be sweet when it's finished! You gotta love all the accessories, just too cool .
