  1. Yea Nick, ya got a new camera. But anyways, it looks like that the projects in the background are way clearer, maybe the micro switch wasn't on? But from what I can see it looks good.
  2. Yea, I agree with ya the kit rims are too small, but I'm trying to make it as close to stock as I can, and I like the style of the rim. I've seen other's built up in some different ways with other rims, but I like stock new muscle cars.
  3. This thing looks good. Again I'm not a fan of bagged trucks, but it's a dime and a clean build so I like it, good job.
  4. So guys, this is what I'm working on. I don't have much done, but working on it. I got the engine bay sprayed in yellow, but most of it will be black anyways. I got the rims painted silver, the engine block and cover in silver, and the body is ready for paint, but gotta wait till next weekend. I need to get some more flat black paint so I'm pretty much stuck till then, but oh well. The color I'm replicaing is called "Yellow Jacket" I plan to have this done JUST before june(when the deadline is) because I'm working on a 08 mustang for a other site and that has to be finished at the same time, BTW the yellow on the spolier and engine bay is the same color, just looks different in the different light Thanks for lookin.
  5. Well i agree with ya. I bet not as many people will see the truck builds either because there all the way at the bottom. I mean I got my hemi d50 and I think it belongs on the bench, because it's a wip, but if that's the way the rules are, I'm fine with it. I also think that there will be less traffic as on the bench and under glass too, because not evrybody likes pick ups/suv's
  6. I moved this here. amt's ram 50 I got the bed together and got it mocked up for pics. I desided to use the sun foof, but I will make my own later. Instead of using those wide tires that don't tuck inside the fenders, I'm using some mopar rallys instead.
  7. Well I just saw a pick up and suv section added so I'm happy now.
  8. I agree 100% and Harry I know that it dosen't say big rigs, but what is in there, big rigs 99% of the time.
  9. Well under glass and on the bench dosen't say "cars ONLY". I mean I know your trying to keep the forum organized, but for the time I have been here, no one had a problem with it till now. I NEVER check the truck section, because it's near the bottom and I'm not interested in the big rigs. These are pick ups, I just don't think that it's a good idea, because I don't want to put my builds in a catorgory for big rigs, because they are completly different. I do understand what yourr getting at though.
  10. I got a 99 sonoma and I love it! Now, if your gonna build a replica of your 1:1, I think it would be ALOT easier to start with a 1/25 amt s10/sonoma kit. Because the 94-97 completly different from the 98+. Like the front end, interior(which resembles a 99 silverado) rear bumper is steel etc.... What I'm saying is if you start with the amt 1/25 kit, cut and fit a 99 silverado interior in it, add the 99 rear bumper to it, scratch the front end and you would have a pretty desent replica, and would be alot easier then starting with these 1/20 kits.
  11. Ok guys, I'm using this for a build off on another forum, but thought I would post anyways. amt's ram 50 I got the bed together and got it mocked up for pics. I desided to use the sun foof, but I will make my own later. Instead of using those wide tires that don't tuck inside the fenders, I'm using some mopar rallys instead. Thats it guys, if you know what color I should paint it, let me know. BTW I'm probly going to use a 5.7L hemi. Thanks for lookin.
  12. I got some styrene, some brass tubing and a amt dodge ram 50.
  13. ok guys, have an update. Not a good one though. I was finishing the body work and te cab broke on one of the pillers. So I fixed that problem..... The roll cage was my first atempt at building one, so it's being redone. Thats going to be the stance when its all finished. Thats it for know guys, thanks for lookin
  14. ok guys, well I desided to dig this one out again and get some work done on it! I have to get some more styrene because I'm all out of it, but this is as far as I got, going to redo the frame rails and stuff but it is fitting alot better then the way it came outta the box, also got the body work 85% complete, but still needs work I'm also going to redo the hinges, since the doors aren't working very well. Thats it for now guys, when I get more styrene this will be updated and the 81 bronco, thanks for lookin.
  15. This thing is lookin awesome, great job!
  16. I have been watching your build of this over on layitlow and this thing looks awesome. I love the frame! I have 1:1 99 sonoma so they are close to me. Awesome build so far and keep us updated! Btw what color are you planing?
  17. I dream of owning one of these trucks some day! It probley won't happen though. But thanks so much for the pics Gregg!
  18. I do want to lower it, but it ain't going to happen for awhile, I know that! I went with the all terrians because we have pretty bad winters so my dad wanted me to get a good agressive tire, plus I gotta drive back and forth to school and it's my daily. If I drive like a nut I'll be in alot of trouble! Plus I don't want to hurt the truck.
  19. wow thats a nice lookin f-350! Ok guys, so I got my new tires!! I have been waiting for awhile but finally got em. Also got new shocks. Tommorrow will be a full wash, wax, vaccum and I went out and bought a clay bar to try that out. I LOVE the new tires, love the white letters and all! I'm so happy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4bUPDwF35I Thats it guys, thanks for lookin and tommorrow it will be clean!
