  1. well mines only 1/25!! I guess I forgot to mention that!
  2. Well guys, update! Ok, so while the srt8's interior primer is drying, I deside to work on this. So I got the trunk hinged(3rd time!), inner trunk lid brace done, but I still have to make the latch and stuff and trim it some more, and the trunk floor started, and the cowel hood has to be rebuilt, I droped it, cracked the cowel and broke the hood in two, thank god for 2 part epoxy! So the cowel will be smaller now. btw don't mind the orange silly putty! Just holding it together for mock up!
  3. Glad to see you made it here!! Love those camaro's, I'm posting a update on my 68 in the muscle car build off, talk to you soon, later.
  4. I haven't built either but here is a long bed I have built and haven't finished yet, if you get what I mean. The finshed half: and the other half, which isn't close to finished: Don't think these will help but thought I would show you anyways! A little imagination you can do anything to a truck!!
  5. Wow that sucks. Yea i am going to build a bronco here pretty soon so yea, hope everything works out for you. I hate fords but I got respect for broncos, they look awesome!
  6. Looks good for the time you built it in! I think you should make the ladder rack for it too because I think it would give the truck a different and unique look to it. Looks good though!
  7. Looks awesome so far! Here is the heat sheilds I did on a 06 charger. I bmf them and then I dull coated them, just another option they look pretty convicing in person. Can't wait to see more progress on the mustang!
  8. This is looking fantastic! But I think those revell lowrider wheels are killing it?? They seem too small or something to me. If you could find some pegas rims or something along those lines I think it would look alot better, because it looks like it needs something to fill those wheel wells.
  9. Well, I'm in nova scotia, Canada. I have never used the basic putty before but I got it at my hobby store, they just got it in because I go there every week. Next time I go I can ask the manager, he knows my mom so it won't be that hard to find out. I think it's just white though, not sure but I think it works pretty good.
  10. Today I got some taymia putty, I will see how it works. And some taymia airbrush paints, so I can expirement with making flames.
  11. Ok, another update. Got the chassis done, I'm happy with the way it looks, but the ride height is killing me, WAY TOO HIGH!! The rims are too small too but still, I'm probly going to leave it the way it is because I don't want to mess around with the turning front wheels and I just want to get this thing done and off my bench. The exhaust and heat sheilds are done in bare metal foil but the heat sheilds are dull coated, I still got to add a bit of dirt and grime to make it relestic, and the brembo brakes are from my parts box, more to come.
  12. Yea I fixed the top, a little heat and some putty it's good to go, I want to start it now but I have to finish my srt8 charger for the movie car build off first though.
  13. Here's a update. Ok update. I got the chassis over spray painted the PROPER way, barley any at all. Also I got all of the engine/suspension pieces that are black in black. I still have ALOT of work to go but plan on finishing the chassis tomorrow. And here is the license plate I'm working on. still got to dull coat the wheel wells thanks for looking.
  14. man I love the elky, beutiful. I'm not a big fan of tuners and stuff but that scion is sweet, I love the black strip/carbonfibre agaist the yellow, cool rides!
  15. Looks good, do I see a elky and a scion with a racing strip back there?? COOL!
  16. I went searching though the site, and I found out it needs ALOT of work to look right, so I think I will just scracth it. Here's the link: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9433&st=0&p=68919&hl=Blazer&fromsearch=1&#entry68919
  17. Well there's 99 silverado's and the kit is 2wd so I would think why not, btw can you update my entry, take off the 99 silverado and replace it with a 81 bronco? But anyways, here's my inspriation, not starting this probly till may. I'm debating if I should scratch the removable roof part or try to fix it, it's got a melted spot on it and is extremly warped, but surprisingly the rest of the kit is fine.
  18. Ok, here's a update on the charger, got the hemi and transmission all finished, Alot of fun to build and way more detailed then the revell 6.1 hemi's. now onto the interior... thnks for looking.
  19. Looks good, I also like those pegas wheels on it, here is one I did a while ago, not trying to hijack your topic btw. I I like yours though, can't wait to see it done.
  20. well here is what I came up with, I will figure out the rear suspension tommorrow. any sugestions? let me know.
  21. yea, I like to switch off on projects, the street kings charger in the back ground I'm just waiting for paint to dry on the engine pieces, I find if I have a idea in my head then I need to get it into styrene!
  22. well maybe I'm thinking of the wrong show??? But I thought they drove a orange/red f-250, crew cab, with a hydrlic set up in the regular bed?? Either way it will be cool!
  23. I love that show!! Even though it is fake, but it's just fun to watch. You building the grey one or the orange one? I like the orange one better. You got any pics? Can't wait to see it. You should build a diorama of it hooking up to a car.
  24. what do you get when your waiting for paint to dry, and you have a rusted and weathered chevy cab, some semi wheels, a blown 350, and a old tow truck frame in pieces laying around..... stay tuned to find out... my camera died
