  1. Well I got some more work done on the hood, just got it bondo in some, I did make the cowel a little smaller but I kinda liked it the way it was, I still have to add the trim that runs down the midle of the hood.
  2. Well I went to my lhs looking for a 99 silverado, didn't find that but apperently the manager Is slowly thinning out his colection (he told me he had about 150 kits and he says he brings home a couple every time they get more kits in) and I found these two so I'm EXTREMLY happy!! the daytona is going to be a replica of my mom's 90 she used to own, the funny thing was that she loved it, and my dad hated it!
  3. I was going to use the kit one but I might swap in one from a 02 camaro, don't know yet.
  4. well I think it's called furious pink or furious fusha, I kinda like it, it kinda complete's the "different colored challenger for everyday of the week" theme!
  5. Here's the camaro so far, I'm going to make the cowel a bit smaller though.
  6. Wow it looks good! I like the way it lookswith the stripes and the rims.
  7. I might make the cowel hood a little smaller though.
  8. here's another project i'm working on: ok guys, well here is the 68 camaro, This is a really crude kit compared to the revell 69, but is still buildable. I cut open the trunk, started building the cowel hood to cver the stacks in the kit, backed halfed the chassis, scratch built fuel cell needs finishing, gotta start the cage, build the springs, and it's sitting on lambo rims, still trying to find smaller front tires. and the chassis isn't stitting right in the pics. thanks for lookin
  9. x3 what's up with the rims? I like the rest of it though.
  10. well I'm still waiting on the 99 silverado, the guy at my lhs said they discontinued the stock one, so I'm going to order the custom one, if they still make it (it's still in revells catolog), and make it stock, because I got all the parts to do that.
  11. Well I got some bmf, knife blades, can of primer last week and today I got this: really nice kit. A little expensive but worth it, especially considering that this the only other option then the "uptown" revell kits. Very nice though and has many parts that are highly deatailed too. But it makes me want the police version to come out sooner!
  12. Looks good. I like the color. I prefere the revell snap kit over the amt, I've built both, the revell just looks better I think, And with some paint and detail it will look just as good as the amt. But good job. The revell one is in my avatar.
  13. Yea here it is! I love this thing. I have a dilema. I don't know(when I get the money) if I should lift it up and go off roading or swap in a ls1 and go fast!! But I will make that desision as time goes on. 1999 sonoma, 4.3 v6, 88, 221 kms, not bad for being 11 years old!! summer time here's the rust rpair, it ain't perfect but it looks better then before! And what it looks like now! and my interior that needs to be cleaned, badly!! If you ever are lookin at one of these trucks to buy, get a good low milage one and it will last you for ever, mines still got a long time to go, or at least till (or if) I get that ls1!!
  14. ok, sucks you had to sell the blue one, the vert will look good when you get it finished. You should make a removeable hard top for it. Hopefully things work out for you and you can get that thing lookin good. If it were me I would go with the coilovers and the rear leafs because I think it would look cool as a driver/racer kinda thing, but no matter what it will look sweet man!
  15. yea if I were to do the swap then I would defenitly get a truck to drive in the winter and garage the sonoma. How many s10's you got? I see two more behind the convertible one, that looks sweet btw.
  16. well I'm not sure what swap I'm going to do yet. I want to make a street vehicle that can go fast too, but living in nova scotia the winters are kinda hard here for something like that. The ls1 swap would probly be the one I would go with though, but it won't happen for awhile anyways because it's only got 88,000 kms on it, or at least till I get a new truck. I'm going to look at the site right now.
  17. but it's the same thing all around, yes those were added things in the package but it's not like they had different bodys or engines, love it though, looks so good, I like the 2nd gen's better, but that's probly just because i own one. But that is a beutiful truck though.
  18. Not really, it was just an upgrade package that you could get on top of the normal one, I'm pretty sure.
  19. accually there the same thing, no differences at all, yes there was the blazers and the jimmy's verses the s10 and s15/sonoma but there the same, trust me, I know ALOT about these trucks, but I do agree with you about the memories, if you remove everything then it dosen't feel like the same truck, that's how I feel about my sonoma, I want to paint it but then it won't feel like the same one.
  20. Yea I missed that it is a s10, but they all are technechily the same. Nice truck you got there Nick, but I would take off all the accesories and jack it up and put some big beffy off road tires on it, but that's just me.
  21. because it was called the s15 first then they switched the name over to sonoma
  22. That thing is nice, I'm thinking about putting a v8 in my 1999, what size v8? Oh and are you going to paint it or leave it flat black, I kinda like the way it looks now, and I also like the way those rally rims look on it.
