Well I have a plan for this, but I am trying to figure out what kind of engine it is? The v8 engine: Maybe the fwd tranny is throwing me off or what, but have no clue what it is. So any help would be appreciated.

Yea I find it works good. I just need to get my tailgate repainted because it looks horrible, rock chips everywhere. Nice lookin ranger, I like my noma better though. And LVZ2881 go ahead post those pics!

I think you shold do zoomies like on that truck though. I like them better then stacks.

Soounds like a great idea! My back windows are factory tint but there's a couple huge scratches were a snow blower went forward and scratched it. (It was my dad) Thank godness it didn't break.

Ok guys, so I am starting to work on my truck. It's a 99 sonoma, I will still be driving it so it won't be perfect lookin for a LONG time, but who cares. Here is the youtube vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0m307kHOF0E I am removing the clear scratches from it in vid #1 I'm going to lose the pinstripe, because it just looks stupid, but dose match the stripe that runs along the bottom of the truck that says sonoma Just trying to save the paint till I can get it repainted the same color, because I love it and find it is different. If you want to see some other builds, and what I look like(LOL), check out my other vids. Pt2 will be tinting tail lights, then three will be fix the rock chiped tail gate. Here is what I'm aiming for: so look out for pt2. This is my first time attempting this stuff, so it is new to me. Ah man that sucks big time! Glad to hear though that your ok. I love s-series trucks and to see a first gen like that hurts!! The blue convetable is the one your putting the engine in right? You ever plan on rebuilding the wrecked one? Just don't crush it!! If it's fixable. Btw are you part of the s10 forum?

I think SOME trucks are WAY over priced, others not so much. Yea I agree, had my sonoma in for a free oil change and gm wants 30,000 for 2010 base, w/t silverado with NO options! Go down the road to the local dodge dealership, 26,000 for a quad cab 4x4 ram. I am a gm guy at heart, but let me tell ya If I was in the market for a new full size truck, the dodge would be the one I'd be buying. As long as it's not an ugly new ford or jap stuff I'm fine with it, I'm just fine with my domestic stuff, and older fords that looked good when new and still do.

Got another update: this probley will be the last update till it is done. I got it polished out, and have started final assembly. The front and rear bumpers I striped and painted black, then I'll bmf them once there completely dry. that's it guys. It will probley be done at the latest sunday. Thanks for lookin.

Yep, I have been reusing mine for a LONG time, I just mix it back up and use it again.

Ok guys, another update: Got it painted, it is krylon champagne nouveau, which is a satin color, but it will be cleared with duplicolor after I get the badge decals on and polish it out in about a week to make it shiny. Thanks for lookin guys.

also, don't chop the top, I thing it would look stupid, but thats just me again.

lookin good! I'm not really a fan of bagged s10's but it's lookin good anyhow! Maybe it's just because I have a 1:1, don't think I'm ever going to bag it but will probly lower and go fast!
