  1. so, right now I've been working on the dash and door panels, but am stuck on what I should do to the door panels? There is not enough room to build it up and put tons of speakers and stuff on it, but I'm looking for a simple design. I'll get some more pics here in a few.
  2. I've been following this build from the begining, and it is awesome! You got some great skills and this thing looks sick. Keep up the great work, and can't wait to see some more of the nova! I'll be following that one too.
  3. wow, it's been almost two months since I've updated this thing. but anyways, I got a update. So I go the floor glued in, the whole inside rear half of it skinned and tubs made, center consel started, and the dash as well. I have seen lately alot of mini and full size trucks being converted to RHD just for the heck of it, and I thought that would be a cool idea to add to it. I also got the roll pan made, but I gotta put some filler on it and finish sanding the rear. btw, the orange stuff is just silly putty holding it together for pics. Here's the pics: again, I still gotta lot of work to do to the rear, like fill the roll pan in and sand some more: One more pic Thanks for lookin, and sugestions let me know.
  4. here's a mini I did and i printed off the roof decal: here's one pic of the finished thing: And if ya wanna see more here is the topic: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=32327&st=0&p=322490&hl=mini&fromsearch=1&#entry322490
  5. Cool vids, never seen those before! There is a whole bunch of us modelers on YouTube. Well after a couple of years and some REALLY childish bickering and name calling, it isn't as big any more but what ever, thanks alot haters, lol. But here's my YouTube channel, and there is some GREAT builders on there, and having videos does have advantages. youtube.com/bowtiebadboy33
  6. I hope everybody here in Canada is having a great day! Pretty normal for me but what ever! I also like this version by Classified: oh Canada (skip to 30 sec for the song)
  7. Wow that turned out great! Great job!
  8. Yep, I've heard it happening too many times. That's why I don't show my models at shows, afriad something like this will happen. There's some sad people out there, stealing models is just another thing you can take and either keep or sell for some cash.
  9. awesome monte man! I like the look of these done up like this. Good job
  10. Nice rides! I love el camino's. Oh and btw, the sonoma/s10 tail lights look good with the 84.

    2003 Camaro

Looks good, I love these cars! But it is accually a 02, last year for camaro's till '10 and it is the 35th aniversery edition. looks good though, I like it.
  12. I plan on finishing the chassis, like no spare tire, blend in the two frames etc. Also finish the interior tub, gotta fix the hole in the floor. Also got to get one more light coat of filler on it and should be ready to go. Oh and it looks dark because I had my camera on the wrong setting. thanks for lookin.
  13. Ok guys, got a update. I got the chassis cut, the interior tubs cut and the roof and body work is coming along, but still has along way. I still need to cut and glue the body cladding too, so stay tuned. I plan on finishing the chassis, like no spare tire, blend in the two frames etc. Also finish the interior tub, gotta fix the hole in the floor. 14. Thanks guys, and thanks for the info Chuck. I'm pretty sure I can get better pics, just me not taking my time and bad lighting. I was gonna get a new camera sometime soon, but had to spend that money on a new battery for my truck oh well. Makes me feel good when someone like you says it would be magizine worthy, lol. Plus there is a HUGE update coming tommorrow, since I got alot done.
  15. You got a good start! You're on YouTube too arn't you? But anyways, if you can't get a buick turbo v6, try asking for a gmc syclone turbo'd 4.3L v6. The 4.3 is basiclly a 350, but with two less cylenders. Great engine btw, I have a stock one in my truck, no turbo. I don't have an extra though, using it but try some other people. Looking good so far, I'm liking it.
  16. Just gloss black with semi gloss black body cladding, just like the normal ones
  17. So I just thought I would ask. What was the spark or idea to start it? I bet ya it was quiet here for awhile?!
  18. Ok guys, so I thought I would put this here for more people to see, since alot don't brouse the truck section. Anyways, two syclones made into a crew cab, it is gonna be done as if it came from gm in 91. So it's gonna have the stock frame and everything, just as a crew cab. thanks for lookin.
  19. thanks guys, and chuck, I know they did the 2nd gen over in brazil as a crew cab, and here too, but don't think there was a 1st gen crew cab from gm. But anyways, update: I got it glued together, and started body work, I still have to get some more styrene for the edges of the roof. I also put a coat of bondo on it to rough in the cab, haven't started anything else on it yet. I want to use te stock frames, but can't figure out where they exactly sit when the kit is built outta the box, so I cant cut it or the interior tubs till then, but I'll figure it out.
  20. Ok guys, so I desided to get another one and do what I have been dreaming of doing for awhile, a 4 door gmc SYCLONE, plus I want a left over turbo'd 4.3 Its not glued yet, just taped together for now, and I'll worry about the body cladding later after the whole thing is glued together. Maybe a side project some day?? It's gonna be built like if GM made it back in the day, completely stock, only wish it was real, LOL
  21. Thanks, ya I like lifted trucks too, but I'm doing this one as a street truck so I did lower the rear, looks ten times better, I'll get some pics soon.
  22. Ok guys, so I got a update! I will be working on this one alot, since I jut finished some other stuff. The 5.7 don't fit, way too tall, so I opted for a 440 instead, still happy though. I have a delima, don't know if I should lower the rear more, I kinda like it but then I don't, what do you guys think? I think I will lower it, but what do you guys think?
  23. Thanks guys! I was debating on the weathering, but I like it. And yes highway, I get the joke.
  24. Dirty: thanks for lookin guys.
  25. Ok guys, so I just finished this up, it was a fun build and it helped me practic my decal making and weathering, so hope you guys injoy, btw the front lisence plate says MINIIIIIIIII, just didn't take a good pic of it, because here in nova scotia your allowed to have your real plate on the back, and anything on the front. All clean: I know it don't have the turn signals, but I lost one, and didn't care for em anyways.
