  2. Hi There I'm going on holiday in Aussie and would like to know what model shops there are on the Gold Coast I'm staying in the Broadbeach area I'm into cars and my partners dad is in to military stuff so if anyone can suggest a good shop it would be greatly appreciated

  4. Greg that Lenco is a 3 Speed each section is a gear and the small one at the end is the reverser my Dads Top Alcohol Altered ran a air shifted 3 speed Lenco i hope this helps. I cant wait to see what you do with this I'm pretty keen on getting one of these big scale Pro Mods and the other parts that Flashpoint is offering just not 100% sure about the scratch building lol i think ill be giving a small scale one a go first then see what you and the other great builders do with the big scale stuff.
  5. Dude this thing is going to look stanch. What kit or kits are you using for this?. Here in NZ there have been a couple of 1-1 of these done in Pro Street style

Hi There i have the Trumpeter GT40 and i need reference pics for the number 2 car of Bruce McClaren and Chris Amon anything would be a great help but i would be good if someone had a interior shot of this car or could tell me what color the interior was and just general ref pics i have googled it a number of time but i cant seem to find much Thanks Jason

  8. Hey thanks heaps for the comments guys. Yea Cruz i need to work out how to use the camera properly lol or get a better one it always seems to suck at focusing. Also for those that are wondering the color is House of Kolor PBC36 TRUBLUE airbrush paint.

  11. Hi Guys i want to build my 1/12 57 Chev into a Pro Mod and i was wondering if i could get away with using 1/16th parts as I'm not sure about the scale difference and i know that some of you guys will be able to help Thanks Jason

  13. Update!! I got the bodywork done yesterday primed filled and sanded. I painted it today and tonight i have got the decals half done thanks for looking.
  14. Hi everyone heres my latest project its the Pisano & Matsubara Monza. I'm using the Don Prudhomme Army Monza and Slixx decals i swapped the kits front and rear tires with the ones in the 55 Chev street burner kit as i feel the kit ones are too small heres the progress so far hope you enjoy
  15. Thanks for the comments and advise about the decals guys. Heres a update Ive got the interior 90% done just have to finish the front seats i decided that i wanted more of a weekend warrior drive to work Monday kinda car so i left the roll bar out and put the back seat in after all the dial in decal on the decal sheet is 12.5 sec and if you run slower than 11.99 over here in kiwi land you don't need a roll bar.Also the chassis is just about done too Ive completed and installed the engine heres some pics hope you enjoy.Sorry about the state of my kitchen lol I'm getting some white cardboard tomorrow use for a photo backround.

  17. Hi Everyone This is my first build in quite a few years and I'm just starting to make a full return to this great hobby so i decided to start back into this with a simple out of the box build of one of my favorite cars the 69 Nova SS so heres a couple of pics of the progress so far

  19. Could someone please help me is it possible to put masking tape over Alclad or is it possible to clear Alclad and what clear works the best. I'm working on the AMT 66 Nova Pro Street and i want to paint the floor pan in Alclad polished aluminum and paint the chassis rails the body color so if anyone has a idea about the best way to do this any ideas are appreciated
  20. Greg i think it would make a great hot rod engine definitely different. A guy here in kiwi land is building a car with a Porsche V8 with a Littlefield supercharger on it and if my memory serves me correctly the was a 32 roadster with some sort of Ferrari engine in it.

  25. Man you guys are inspiring me to get my kit out and start building it. Ive been waiting for someone to do a wip on this kit i hope mine turns out half as good as your ones. Are you guys using the KA models super detail set?
