  1. Reason enough to get that kit. Awesome!
  2. David, I always love the creativity you bring to your builds, and this one is no exception. The scratchbuilding is incredible, as always, and I love the engine choice! -Art
  3. John, It all looks great! Your progress is incredible. I can't believe how fast this is coming together. Well, yes I can... Teresi Speed! I also want to thank Gary Sleeper at GWS Custom Decals for the help on this. Gary is great to work with. If anybody is looking for some custom decal work, Gary is your guy. Check him out at: http://www.gwsdecals.com
  4. Jay, I am currently building a Willys with injection as well, and I couldn't exactly find one. I ordered a real nice piece from Speedcityresin.com, but it didn't quite fit the Revell Willys block very well. I ended up using the injectors but scratched my own manifold. Here's my WIP if you're interested: http://www.modelcars...63751&hl=willys Good luck with your project! -Art
  5. Looks great, my friend!
  6. Great start!
  7. That is turning out GREAT! Can't wait to see the next update. -Art

  10. Thanks for the kind comments, guys. More to come this week!
  11. As I mentioned earlier, the injector manifold I purchased just didn't fit. So I decided to scratch-bash a new one. I made the manifold itself from scratch, then used the injectors from the resin piece. I think it's going to work. The piece on the left is the one I made, the middle is the blower manifold that came with the kit, and the right one is the resin injector. I added some ribs and a distributor location. Cut the injectors off the resin part. And the final part. Thanks for looking!
  12. Thanks for the support, Doctor! I've been able to get a little more done on the rear end. It really had me wondering what I had gotten myself into! I felt like I created the hardest kit I've ever built. B ut the cool thing is, it actually works. Anyway, here are some shots of the shocks and the mock up of the rear end. I found the springs at Home Depot in an assortment pack and they turned being the perfect size, just had to trim it down some.
  13. Thanks, Mark. Looks very sharp!
  14. Mark, I'm curious about this too, but, unless I missed it, didn't see that it had been answered. You know I'm currently struggling with pinstripes!
  15. I took a few pictures at the IPMS OrangeCon Regional this past Saturday held at Cal state Fullerton in Orange County, California. Most of my pictures are cars, but there are few military and other subjects in the mix as well. It was a great show, with a ton of models present. I only ended up getting a fraction of them. Enjoy! http://public.fotki.com/alaski48/orangecon-2012/
  16. Great progress, Brother!
  17. Bill, that engine is a masterpiece! I'm thoroughly enjoying this.
