both Autocars had the same frame the only differances in the kits was the dump truck had the pit fenders and 2 differant rear drive trains and the dump box

mmm now I havhe ause for the air bags in the snap kits .. so far your build is looking good

Jim if you look at a mounting plate ona real rig you notice the notches for the locking pins over those notches is a strip to hold the fifth wheel in place look at the kit mounting plate that strip is missing

How many of you all have corrected the fith wheel mounting plate with a very simple fix . The reson I ask I have been building rigs for a number of years and today I realized I have never corrected the fifth wheel plate .

thanks guys the white on the wheels was hand painted the screen came from AC Moore the fender guide sticks was scratch built now to finish it big brother the Mack DM 866 SX

the Maxidynes and Thremodynes was painted gold on the Macks so for the DM Series they would be gold you could tell if a Mack had a Mack ecine by looking at the Bull Dog on the hood if it was gold it was a Mack engine a chrome bull Dog it was anouther enginge

7000in5th I think on the reissue AMT corrected the instructions but I did know to place air intake correctly Moper D still have a bit more to do on it and will post more pics . thank you both
