  7. Do you know if anyone sells those Red Bull Decals? My friend is gonna do a Robby Gordon Race team. I got my kit for $37.83,it says $135 on testors site. I had to buy it. Thanks for the input. Doug R
  8. I have one on the way. It comes with the truck full detail, trailer detail?, and one rally car. My plans are to custom paint and decal the rig and trailer to match a class one buggy or Trophy Truck? Basically an off road race team,if it comes out ok it may end up as my first diorama with figures and a camera crew and pit set up? But that may be too ambitious.LOL! Doug R
  9. Jairus, I believe this to be Randy Frost of Perry's resin? Really good guy. Doug R
  10. I need to buy a tamiya Vee Wee still. My thought was that the revells kits were cheap still and plenty around. I may build a tamiya body? That kit I am sure is high quality. That would be awesome if you did one.Your stuff is top notch. I am doing this body for a friend who just started casting and is doing great work. No body offers goodies for us off roaders.LOL! Doug R
  11. Thanks Mike. Great idea. My friend Jake is casting a few of those tires for cheap. His molds look really good too. If anyone needs any tires,I can point you in his direction. Doug R
  12. Hey guys, Would there be any interest in a resin trans kit for revell vw kits to make them into more modern style baja bugs?? I was thinking it could include: 1 baja body like the one pictured except no shock tower holes, 1 fuel cell, 2 racing seats, 3 front wheels and tires,2 rear wheels and tires, and maybe even a how to build roll cage instruction? Just curious, working on something and wanted to know. Priced maybe in the $15-$25 area for the whole deal Any input appreciated. Doug R
  13. Yep afx resin does both bronco bodies. You need some scratch building skills for sure. The stock version is not really correct I guess, but it's better than nothing. RMR resin is doing some really cool bodies too. Doug R
  14. Check this article out guys. It may help. Doug R http://www.swannysmodels.com/TheCompleteFuture.html
  15. Hey guys, I am thinking of building this kit. It would be my first attempt at a semi. Has anyone built this or a variation, is it a good kit. Thank you. Doug R

  18. I have purchased from them 3 times. Good luck every time.Shipping was prompt. Now you can find the stuff states side that you could not before thanks to companies like blue fin. HLJ is usually backordered on everything I want recently. Doug R
  19. Looks good, You will find that each build you will be doing new stuff like sanding the tire tread,or detailing the grille and lights, wiring an engine..... Keep it up! Doug R
  20. Started life as a Hasagewa WW2 Kubelwagen,I modified the body to look more like a thing. Scratch built the entire chassis,shocks,suspension,steering,exhaust,shifter,..... Has a honda V-Tec with Porsche trans.. 03 GM redfire metallic Hope you like it. Doug R
  21. John aka-Fastback The engine is an acura/honda motor from a revell tuner kit. They actually use these in Class 10 off road race cars. The CV boots are GM weather pack seals. Good eye. Replicating CV's are hard, and I thought those worked good. Here are 2 more VW's I built since you like the aircooled ones.LOL! Doug R
  22. Thanks for the nice comments James hopefully you'll still like it in person.LOL! Doug R
  23. I am doing the final assembly and details. Here is a couple of shots this morning. I hope to be done tomorrow. I have to make rear shock reseviors and an exhaust system, finish the seats and rear brakes.... Thanks for looking. Doug R
  24. Kubel-thing?? you have to work with kits that are available.LOL! I wish they made a safri wagen-"thing" in 1/25 or 1/24. Think I am going with piggy back reseviors on this build. I just built one so far. What do you think .The top will be hidden in the mount. Doug
